Aurora was beyond nervous. Her hands were sweating, her breathing was wonky, everything just seemed dizzy. At this point, Aurora Black and Theo were gone to their respective tables. "Hey, you okay? You seem stressed" She turned around to see a red-haired girl standing in front of her. Next to her was a blonde who had dreamy eyes, almost if she just woke up and was going to sleep at the same time. "I'm Ginny Weasley, and this is Luna Lovegood." the girl said. A Weasley. They weren't very rich in the wizarding world, mostly a joke to purebloods. Aurora never really cared about all that stuff, but what would her father say if he found out? Oh screw it, Hogwarts is for friends anyway. "Nice to meet you, I'm Aurora Nott. Would you like to sit with me?" "Of course" Luna said. They mostly talked about sorting. Luna came from a long line of ravenclaws, as Ginny with gryffindor. "Quiet down now" Dumbledore said. "To start I would like to say a word. Nitwit. Let the sorting begin!" Hmm. A little odd, he is. Ginny got gryffindor and Luna ravenclaw. But what about her? "Aurora Nott" A teacher who had a stern but kind voice said. Aurora sat down, took a deep breath, then heard a voice in her head. "Oh! Easy! Slytherin!" The hat said and she heard an applause from a table farthest away from the podium. She had did it. "Hey! Good job sis!" "Thanks Theo!" she sat next to her brother who happened to be siting next to Daphne Greengrass "Hello Rora!" She said as she messed up her hair. Daphne was like a sister to her. Astoria was a bit older, and they didn't bond too much. "First years! Follow me to your dorms!" A couple of prefects called. As Aurora entered her dorm, the first thing she saw was a girl siting on her bed "Hello" Aurora said. "Hello. I'm Maddie Parkinson" said the girl "Aurora Nott, pleasure" Maddie looked at her smiling oddly. She got up and put her hand out "Friends?" she said, still grinning. Aurora, confused, raised her hand up to hers and said "Friends."
