Press anything to move between slides There's two because I LOVE HER SO MUCH Alright. So at first, Crystal is this sweet, bouncy, perky, feminine stereotype on the outside as a little girl. She lives in the town of Rainbow Grove, in the Empire of Luceat, with her mother, who's a writer- or so Crystal thinks. But then one day, Crystal's mother, Opal, disappears- and the same day, Rainbow Grove burns to the ground. Crystal escapes with a few bad burns and severe PTSD. (that is NOT a joke I don't joke about psychiatric disorders.) She's also a lot more serious, and braver, after the fire. She searches for her mother and discovers that there is a sinister plot lying around Rainbow Grove. There was an expensive bracelet hidden in Rainbow Grove, and whoever is in possession of the bracelet at midnight on the 25th anniversary of the Empire of Luceat's Independence Day is magically crowned monarch of the Empire of Luceat. Crystal's mother, Opal, was said to have the bracelet, and was kidnapped by King Lucifer's fae knights*, so that Lucifer could get his hands on the bracelet and continue his (evil) reign as king. But Opal didn't have the bracelet on her. Crystal travels to Lucifer's palace to save her mother, knowing that she has to save her before the 25th anniversary, after which Lucifer would deem Opal 'useless' and kill her, because she would have no more information that would help him. But at midnight on the 25th anniversary, CRYSTAL is suddenly magically crowned queen, and the fae knights switch to obeying Crystal instead. At Crystal's command, Opal is rescued from Lucifer, and Opal reveals that the yellow rubber bangle which she gave Crystal for her tenth birthday IS the crowning bracelet. It's expensive because the rubber of the bracelet is made out of latex from a magical flower- hence the bracelet's ability to crown the monarch. Crystal becomes queen and radically changes the Empire of Luceat for the better- she removes the death penalty for crimes, for example, and instead of killing Lucifer for his evil deeds, she puts him in a reforming jail instead. So Opal and Crystal live happily ever after... until the next problems arise... *the fae knights also burnt down Rainbow Grove

Thank you for considering my work! ...yeah I get that the story doesn't entirely make sense, I'm happy to answer any questions! This was just my shortening of her backstory. I'll write a longer version if I get the character =D
