Specimens version of Cynthia “Cyn” Nabors ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~⋆⭒✩⭒⋆~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 〚Name〛Cynthia “Cyn” Nabors 〚Specimen code〛#C748 〚Age〛17 〚Gender〛Female 〚Sexuality〛 Straight 〚Family〛Separated from her parents, sister is deceased 〚Partner〛Open 〚Looks〛Pale skin with some slight pink-tinted areas, pink eyes, and short white hair in a boyish cut. She has tiny metal ridges along her arms, back, sides, and neck that are actually scars, including her specimen code carved into her wrist. She wears a white specimen jumpsuit with the code #C748 on the left side of the chest. 〚Personality〛Cyn is naturally very energetic and playful. She is very friendly, hyper, and lively. She is also a very curious and impulsive person, tending to jump right into things without thinking it through. She is caring and will protect her friends at all costs, which is when she often finds herself in fights. 〚Powers〛Cyn has the ability to grow extensions of her body made of pure, unbreakable metal and regenerate from injuries. She can alter her appearance with spikes, horns, claws, wings, or whatever, and can form weapons in the place of hands, like a metal version of Groot. When she uses her power, her skin turns a chrome color and her eyes turn a glowing white color. She can heal herself by growing a metal-like substance in the place of flesh or scar tissue in a form of regeneration. This substance is flexible like organic matter, but is hard and unable to be pierced or cut, and fuses with the surrounding skin, permanently retained and never able to be restored as normal. The scars on her body are made of this metal substance instead of scar tissue, a visible mark of her powers and identifying her as a specimen instead of having a part-animal appearance. 〚Weaknesses〛When it comes to personality, Cyn is way too impulsive. She jumps on board with both feet without thinking it through. She is overly-curious and does not have the best sense of judgment. Sometimes her imagination goes wild and she wanders, and often finds herself in trouble. While her metal extensions and alterations are virtually unbreakable, that does not mean she’s invulnerable to other bodily harm. While she is able to heal herself, a fatal wound will still kill her if it is beyond power to heal by any means. []Backstory〛Cyn’s personality is probably the only normal thing about her that was retained from her former life. In the past, Cynthia lived with her parents and her younger sister, Thalia. As the oldest child, Cyn was charged with protecting her sister and making sure she didn’t get into trouble. But Cyn was immature and impulsive, and had a knack for getting into trouble. One day, this irresponsibility was her downfall. Cyn was in the forest near the neighborhood they lived in, and she and Thalia were playing hide and seek. Cyn was “it” and stood behind a tree, covering her eyes and counting while Thalia went off to hide. When Cyn reached 20 second, she heard a scream, then silence. Cynthia was sure it was a prank, and thought Thalia was just playing around. After 10 minutes of searching, panic set in, and Cyn realized this was not a trick. She got a search party together to try and find Thalia, but the search was unsuccessful. Blaming herself for Thalia’s disappearance and likely death, Cyn ran from her home, knowing she would be shunned and disowned for her foolishness of leading her sister into the forest and failing to keep her safe. Cyn changed her appearance to help herself feel like she was someone else, anyone else, but the girl who got her little sister killed. Even if her personality remained the same and she seems normal now, she keeps the secret buried deep down that she feels like she was the cause of Thalia’s death. After a few days of wandering aimlessly, she was kidnapped and taken to the lab. She’s been there for about two years, with a growing collection of permanent metal scars from the experiments. Also, as if the code on her jumpsuit wasn’t enough, one of the scientists was cruel enough to carve her specimen code into her wrist. Again, even though her personality is the same, it’s the only scrap of her former self that failed to be extinguished by the torture she endures in the lab.
