I never felt more... free. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter One: The Storm I woke up sweating and panicky. I rubbed my eyes as everything blurred before me. I tumbled out of bed and I felt so dizzy, I was sure I was walking in circles. The thunder rumbled outside and my senses overloaded. The noise of thunder, the dizziness, the taste of poison. It was all spinning together in circles until a word formed in my head: run... Chapter Two: Cloudy Mind Turns out I can't run. Mistress Orile caught me and I was in trouble. I'm Callie. Nice to meet you. If your reading this, you're probably wondering why I have a mistress. Well. I always knew someone would ask me. I live in an orphanage and well, there you go. I have a mistress, but really, nobody likes her. Anyway, I was caught and was locked in my room for the rest of the night and probably all morning too. My room is small and cramped and dull.
