————Aster————— Name: Aster Pronouns: She/they Age: about 13 in human years Traits: Kind, hardworking, sweet, a bit shy. Likes: Milky ways, her friend moon, the aurora borealis, planets with cats on them, pastel colors. Dislikes: Bossy guardians, hot planets, red and orange. ———Info——— Aster belongs to a species of large creatures that live in space. Once they turn 13, they are given the title of “Guardian” and assigned a star system. Their main purpose Is to protect and watch over their star system until it is no longer habitable, and then they move on to another star system. It is very rare for a star system to die, but it is possible. Every guardian has a specific ability based on their markings and name. The guardians keep peace among the galaxy. ———Backstory——— Aster looked at the pedestal, grinning. In a few minutes, the age-old skyfall tradition would light up the sky in HER honor. She had finally turned 13. Standing in front of her was Aura, her mentor and teacher. She stepped forward. “Aster. It is with great pleasure that I announce your promotion to guardian. You will be assigned the Solar Star System. You have shown great promise, and the whole community knows you will take great care of it. Please step up to the platform as the skyfall ceremony commences.” Aster sat down, with much anticipation. One by one, each of the many guardians clasped their hands together. A bright light began to shine through, getting brighter and brighter. Asters eyes opened wide as the guardian revealed the lights in their hands. Her fur seemed feel lighter as the orbs lifted. Stars. They shone down on her, as if whispering her name in their ever ascending journey. ——Moon—— Moon is a small planet who can be seen next to aster in the ref. When very young, Moon drifted away from their star system. After being lost for a long time, they found Aster. Aster took them in, and they have been best friends ever since. Moon helped Aster discover her abilities to create asteroids, and they have always loved creating stunning meteor showers together.
Hope you like Aster! Here’s a couple of space facts I learned from looking it up on the internet. These helped me write the backstory. Please correct me if I’m wrong about these, I honestly don’t know if this is right. (Also, just wanted to put it out there that the back story is not fully thought through and if something doesn’t make sense, its just because I made it for fun :) (Not my definitions) Star system: A small number of stars that orbit around each other, bound by gravitational attraction.
