These are my 2024/2025 Predictions for my home-park, Six Flags: Great America! (Or SFGAM for short.) The reason they are my 2024 AND 2025 Predictions is because I doubt the Wild Moose I predicted, Moose Mountain will open in 2024. It seems SFGAM is more focused on adding a Zamperla Giga Discovery. Anyway, here are the details for my prediction: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MOOSE MOUNTAIN New for 2025, this kiddie coaster is the first of-it's-kind! This coaster is an evolution of the classic Wild Mouse Coaster so it packs a punch on a compact coaster. Plus, it's a perfect gateway to Goliath, a coaster that was created by Rocky Mountain Construction, just like this one. Decades ago, loggers from the Moose Mountain Logging Company from Yukon Territory* advertised their services at The Great Midwest Livestock Expedition and County Fair with their one-of-a-kind "Wild Moose Coaster," as they called it. The campaign was a huge success and every year since, the company has returned with their famous coaster to promote their brand. Due to the twists on this coaster, the trains are an innovative design that allows it to traverse the track easily. Being an evolution of the Wild Mouse Coaster, this ride has lots of deep dips and tight turns which makes it a family coaster that can be enjoyed by all! With a 47 foot lift hill and a top speed of 35 mph, this is the largest and fastest family coaster in the history of Six Flags: Great America. This ride is also right next to the other wooden kiddie coaster in the park, Little Dipper so the two (sort-of) wooden coasters can coincide in peace. Moose Mountain's superior speed might even cause your little ones to want to ride Moose Mountain after the Little Dipper! By the Numbers: Top Speed: 35 MPH Elevation: 47 Feet Length: 1,260 Feet Duration: ?? Minutes and ?? Seconds Introduced: 2025 Manufacturer: Rocky Mountain Construction --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BLUE LIGHTNING This is why Dare Devil Dive went on strike. It could not coincide with Blue Lightning and the ride's statistics. So we removed it and replaced it with what it could not coincide with in 2024. The Midwest's First Giga Discovery is an upgrade from the park's previous pendulum ride, Revolution because Blue Lightning has a taller height, more spinning, and more screams! This ride was formed due to the L Corporation's growing need for a new headquarters. When they heard a new ride was being constructed right next to their arch-enemies' base, (X-Flight) they made a deal to fund the ride but the theme would need to fit their theme and their base had to be located below the ride. A deal was made and their vision became a reality. Even if you got a chance to ride Revolution, Blue Lightning is still worth riding. The gigantic arm in the middle of the disk starts swaying back and forth, picking up momentum as the disk itself starts spinning. You sway higher and higher until you reach the highest height on the ride yet! You pause for a moment to take in the upside-down view. Suddenly, you begin spinning in the opposite direction of the direction you were spinning in before and you begin to sway lower and lower until you are put into the starting position. The only evidence for the riders behind you are what they saw and you being dizzily delighted! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- REMOVED RIDES: Revolution Reasoning for Removed Rides: A better version of the ride is being constructed. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *I know that the different time periods of Yukon Territory and County Fair mostly likely don't add up, but it's just for fun. PLEASE NOTE: I think I took the "Feeling blue" hint from Great America a little too far. The ride might also be called "The New Revolution" (since Six Flags has that copyright) and the blue hint could mean only SOME of the ride is blue. BUT WAIT!! A SPECIAL MESSAGE IS AWAITING YOU... Thank you for reading! I worked really hard writing everything you read above. Please enjoy your day/night/even VERY much!
