The Founder shook his head. “Nope, all good!” He turned to Ranboo. “You can go home now Ranboo, thank you for your help!” Ranboo nodded and jogged to the elevator. Once inside, he took out his phone and ended the recording. Then he cut out the bits that didn’t have anything suspicious and slipped his phone back into his pocket when the elevator opened. Once home, Ranboo showed both of Aimsey and Bill the video and told them about the box and the call. “Those are big pieces of evidence you’ve collected,” Bill said after the audio recording was done. “But, again, you still need a bit more. All you have is an audio recording and a few claims. Try to film as much as you can.” “And get some photos too if you can.” Aimsey added. Ranboo nodded and sat down at the table to eat w/ his friends. The next few days were normal, w/ The Founder only being gone for one day. Ranboo managed to get a picture of Hetch while he wasn’t looking, yet he had his classic black mask so his face wasn’t visible; he never took it off at work. Ranboo was just about to get a picture of The Founder, but the second before he took the picture a set piece fell in front of The Founder’s face. It was some sort of black square. Quite odd, but Ranboo didn’t question it. He was gonna take another but The Founder turned around so Ranboo had to hide their phone. The next day Ranboo walked in and it appeared that The Founder was filming something again. It was another audio thing. “If you have any information on these individuals, pleace call.” He was saying. Before they put their phone away, they quickly began recording. But by the time they didn The Founder had finished talking. “Damn it,” they cursed under their breath. They walked over to turn in their phone on The Founder’s desk when they noticed something they never actually noticed before. There was a door behind one of The Founder’s desks. There was a foggy window on it and, looking inside, Ranboo could see it wasn’t a large room. Probably enough room to fit about 2-3 people, but more than that and it’d be crammed. I’ll have to investigate this later, they thought. They put their phone away and went to their desk. Their work was boring, per usual. Most of the posters they had to print had very, for lack of better terms, basic people, nothing remotely special besides a few worried expressions or a few wounds on the neck or shoulders. One poster, however, stood out to them. They let out an audible gasp. One of their best friends, Sneeg, was on one of these posters. They had printed a poster of themself before, he worked there ofc, but Sneeg? He didn’t recall Sneeg working there, or ever mentioning this place to them. Once the poster was printed, Ranboo took the poster to The Founder. “Um, if I may, I have a question.” The Founder looked up. “Yes?” “Why…why is my friend Sneeg on here? Does he work here?” The Founder was silent for a moment. “Oh uh, no he does not. But, we uh-” The Founder was cut off by the sound of the elevator. Ranboo might’ve imagined it, but he thought he saw The Founder let out a small sigh of relief. It was Hetch. Uhg, not him again. Ranboo thought. He’s gonna try to get me to join this stupid cast, when I’ve said no so many times! If he does it again, I swear-. They rolled their eyes. Hetch had 2 papers stapled together in his hand, and his other hand was in his pocket. Ranboo made their way back to their desk and mentally prepared themself for Hetch’s nagging. After a minute, sure enough, Hetch made his way over to Ranboo’s desk. “Ok, before you say anything, no, I don’t wanna join the cast. And that’s FINAL.” Ranboo said and turned his head back to his computer to get the next poster ready to print. “Well, I wasn’t gonna ask that now, I’ll ask you again tomorrow. I can sense you won’t say no…” Hetch said onimously. Ranboo froze for a moment. “...The heck??” “Anyways, I was gonna tell you that The Founder requested that you work a bit later, just for tomorrow.” Ranboo tilted their head. “Why?” “Beats me, I was just told to tell you. You will be coming in at 1 PM and leave at 9.” Hetch said, and muttered something that sounded like “If…ng goe…r…g.”Oh uhh…ok? Can I text Bill and Aimsey?” “Sure, but I’ll go w/ you, my desk is that way anyway.” Ranboo remembered the door. He could investigate it tomorrow. The Founder usually comes in a little after 1 so if he arrived early enough he’d be able to investigate the room before The Founder gets there. “Ok.” Ranboo said, and both Hetch and Ranboo walked to The Founder’s desk.} (MORE vvv)
(Continuation of ^^^) {The next day Ranboo left at 12. He had had breakfast, packed himself some lunch, and played some Mario Party w/ Aimsey, Bill, and Charlie. It was only by the time they left to go to work that they remembered the poster. They texted Sneeg about it, but by the time they got to the office Sneeg still hadn’t responded. 'Oh well, I can check later, or when I get home if I don’t get a chance to.' After checking that nobody was there, Ranboo pushed aside the desk and entered the room. A desk sat on the left side against the wall w/ a spinny chair in front of it. Papers scattered everywhere and covered the floor, walls and table. A little lamp was on the table too, illuminating the desk and making a specific paper more visible. It was Ranboo’s poster, but a red square had been drawn over their head, but not filled in. A weirdly shaped red 4 (or “g”, Ranboo wasn’t sure, but decided on “4” to not confuse themself) was drawn at the bottom of the poster. This symbol was repeated across the room on papers and various sticky notes. There was a line of these sticky notes that read “Don’t hide” “Escape” “Talk” “Conform” “Hesitate” “Learn the history” and one that said “Find The Founder” but the “Find” was scribbled out in red and replaced w/ “Kill”. Quite contradictive Ranboo thought. They took a picture of the sticky notes, along w/ the poster and a few of the papers w/ the red 4 symbol. After sweeping the place and finding nothing else they slipped their phone in their pocket, left the room, and pushed the desk back. They quickly turned around, thinking they heard a shuffle. There was nobody there. Ranboo looked up. A security camera was pointed at them. Ranboo stared in shock, their eyes growing wide. Oh no.’ They thought. They ran in the opposite direction of their desk and hid under a random employee’s desk. They slipped their ShowFall mask that they rarely wore on, flipped their jacket they wore inside out and tied it around their waist, and cuffed their jeans. Once done, they got back out and casually walked back to The Founder’s desk where they turned in their phone w/out looking at the camera or really showing their phone case. Once they got to their desk they took off the mask and sighed w/ relief. A little bit later The Founder got to the office. He greeted Ranboo and left a Sub_a_ sandwich at their desk as a little thank you for coming in later than they usually would. Ranboo ate it while working, and on their lunch break they ate their lunch. During their lunch break they were able to use their phone. They usually just chatted w/ their friends and maybe watched some TikTok. Later that night they were still working, obviously. They checked the little clock on the computer. “8:54” It read. ‘Thank god, I only have 6 minutes.’ Despite their awful sleep schedule, they found themself getting tired. Occasionally they found themself unable to keep their eyes open. Shuffling coming their way startled them awake. They snapped their head back to look at who was there. ‘Oh lord.’ It was Hetch, carrying the same papers he had the day before. “Hi Hetch.” Ranboo said unenthusiastically. “Hey, I bet you already know what I’m gonna say, but hear me out this time-” “You always say that and then it’s always the exact same thing you said the time before.” “But this time I’m-” “You’re what, serious? You said that the past 3 times and again it was the same.” “b-” “Dude stop asking!” Ranboo exclaimed. They turned back to their computer and ignored Hetch. “Listen this time, please?” “...” “Dude, look at me!” “...” Hetch sighed after a moment and slid the papers towards Ranboo, not leaving. Ranboo glanced at it. They’d get paid more, it read, they’d get to help direct…whatever it was that they were doing. ‘More pay…’ Ranboo thought He could buy A bigger, better apartment, and maybe help Aimsey and Bill pay for theyr’e own Apartments if they decided to move out… “Again, no.” Ranboo finally said. There was no way this was real. That much money? Unrealistic. Not in this economy. It was a total scam. ‘I need to quit. Surely this is enough evidence.’ Ranboo grabbed the paper and shoved it into their jacket that they put on earlier that day. It was now 8:57. “Stop convincing me. Besides, I…found a new job. This will be my last day. Make sure to not pester the new guy about this like you did to me.” Ranboo said and walked to the elevator. Hetch chuckled. Ranboo turned around. “What’s so funny?” “Heh, you’re right, this will be your last day.” Hetch snapped his fingers. Before Ranboo could ask what the heck was going on 2 employees walked up robotically to Ranboo and pressed them against the elevator, each holding one of their arms. “Let go of me!” Ranboo exclaimed, trying to break free but failing. “Hetch, tell them to get off!” “I’m afraid I can’t do that.” Hetch said. His tone told Ranboo that he was smiling. Another snap and 2 employees w/ rat masks walked up to them.} (I'll finish in the comments!)
