Whenever it says (click) it means to click the project it has pictures. !!! BLOOD WARNING !!! The prophesy was about to be fulfilled. But Wolf didn't know that. She thought that it was just a normal night when she was just going on a walk with Blue, her best friend. Wolf and Blue were Icewings and 2 months ago a Night wing had traveled to their southern village in the Ice Kingdom because she had been attacked and now had to live on the run. She didn't stay long and nobody knew her name except the dragons she stayed with. But while she was there she had had a vision about a bad ice-flood. (Click) When an avalanche and icebergs would collide, and wipe out many in the vilage. Nobody knew more than that but right now Wolf's parents were questioning the dragons who had taken the Nightwing in. Wolf knew that there wouldn't be anything very bad going on, she just wasn't interested. Blue and Wolf had been going to a Christian church recently and were talking about the latest lesson they had learned. Wolf saw the sledding hill and started toward it. This wasn't the dragonet hill though. This was the adult dragon's hill. Wolf started climbing up and Blue flew beside her. (click) Wolf didn't know how to fly, even though she was nearly 10 dragon years old. She knew she had to one day but before she had hatched something had gone wrong with her egg and her wings didn't work very well. When she got to the top she sat there for a moment. The view was amazing and all conversation has stopped. (Click) Then, Wolf's talons slipped from under her. And she slipped down. She had wanted to slide down but this wasn't how she'd wanted to do it. She dug her talons in as she screamed and slid. It felt like flying but Wolf looked around and saw that this was not the sledding hill. (Click) This was Jokull. A glacier that still had flowing water underneath. Wolf tried to pulled her talons out but it was too late. The ice cracked with a horrible sound and split in numerous places. Wolf stopped and she stared at the thin wall of ice as the cracks spread through it. Her claws were stuck in one floe as all the ice came down on top of her. Wolf tried to gasp through the ice as she tried wrenching herself free but all she did was make her claws sore. (Click) Blue came through the ice and started clawing at the ice around Wolf's talons but it was no use. Instead she just grabbed the ice and started swimming up. Wolf gasped as her head broke the surface. She smiled kindly at Blue, and Blue was about to smile back but then a chunk of ice came flying and her her in the head. (Click) Blue was knocked into the water and didn't come up. Wolf bit and clawed at the ice and finally her talons came free. After a few minutes Blue and Wolf were on a big floe that was floating in a calm spot on the water. Blue wasn't waking up. Wolf started to panic and worried if Blue was dead. (Click. Blood warning!) No, not dead. She was still breathing. But it was so blue, the blood seeping from many small cuts. "What about her memories?" Wolf said to herself. Wolf had never prayed before but now she did, begging for Blue to be alright and to remember her. Less than a minute later Blue's eyes fluttered open and she gasped. Wolf hugged her and thanked the lord. "Blue are you okay?" "Yeah... Wolf, this is the fulfilment of the prophecy. We are the cause of the destruction of our home town." Wolf stared at her but knew that it was true. "We need to get back." Wolf said and Blue nodded. Blue flew and Wolf swam but by the time they had made it to the town it was gone and Wolf was hurt. Blue could hardly see out of one eye from the ice chunk but was going to be alright. But Wolf's leg had been hurt badly from another ice chunk under the water. (Click. Blood warning!!!) Blue Icewing blood was all over the mountain as Blue dragged Wolf up. Wolf took Blue's scarf and tied it around the injury and it did slow the bleeding but Wolf could never run again. They were lost for nearly 3 days but when they found the village camp Polar bear ran towards them. Polar bear was Wolf's mother and Wolf collapsed into her arms. (Click) "Wolf. Oh, Wolf, you're hurt! Wolf, I'm so sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry but" Polar bear sobbed and gripped Wolf tighter. "You're father, Jokull is... Dead. Blue, both of your parents are dead too, but your sister is helping in the healers tent. Wolf we need to get you there. Now." Wolf saw Blue's grief stricken face but she ran after Wolf and Polar bear and Blue put on a brave face for Wolf as she took her talon and smiled up at her. Wolf smiled back and whispered, (click) "It's going to be alright, Blue. I'll be right here." As the world turned black and collapsed around her.
