See the remix that adds a controllable car: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/DrMoron/1216468 This project simulates the driving down a road with twists and turns from the car's perspective. The performance of Scratch is odd in that command execution and drawing are quite slow, but the translation and sizing of sprites is, for all intents and purposes, infinitely fast. Thus, you have to employ some tricks to get a 3D perspective. Simulating a straight road to the horizon is not too hard. However, I thought it would b more interesting to have the road turn back and forth. That turns out to be quite tricky. I can't say that this result is perfect, but it gives the general impression of a bending road. The next step is, of course, adding cars. Unfortunately, I suck at drawing, so this might be difficult for me. Sounds would probably also be a good addition.
