Click the back drop when it says (click) BL00D WARNING! Sunset played her winning card. Her silver coin pile was getting taller but she wouldn't stop yet. Not until she had enough to get a few uncommon comforts. Or one day, her freedom. She winced as her scarred talons got jostled as another Skywing took the card out of her talon. "What's this?" He asked in a gruff tone. Sunset stammered as she struggled to answer but one of his talons has grabbed her wrist and the pain of old scars flared up. "Stop! You're hurting me!" The gruff Skywing looked down at Sunset's talon and wrist. Seeing the scars he only gripped tighter. "I don't like these card games." He announced. The whole room had gone silent. "Then why don't you stop playing?" Sunset asked, gritting her teeth from the pain. The gruff Skywing simply hit her leg hard with his tail. It didn't hurt much and Sunset bared her teeth at him. "I say we do a fighting match. Since this dragonet has been cheating." (Click) He pulled her up by the talon as if she weighed as much as a feather. With the other talon he held up the card. Sunset cried out when he pulled but yelled, "I know it looks different but I thought it was one of them! Besides, I had one in my deck that looked like that and so I thought there wouldn't be any problem!" The lies rolled of her tongue as normal as if they were truth. Easier even. Her voice trembled and tears were in her eyes but that was because her wrist hurt, and was starting to feel worse. "Do we have proof?" The gruff Skywing asked. All her cards had been scattered and so there could be none. He growled and threw Sunset to the ground. (Click) He snarled and clawed her wrist. Sunset screamed and bit his arm. Soon a full fight was smashing all around the tavern. Sunset had pulled herself into a backroom and she found Brazen. He was Sunset's only friend and had a towel and a bowl of water. "I put some medicine in the water to numb it." Brazen said and Sunset groaned but held out her talon. (Click) Brazen took it in one of his and started wiping Sunset's wrist with the other. Sunset soon fell asleep with the smooth feeling of Brazen cleaning her wrist. . . . Sunset woke up in a bed. A blanket was pulled over her and a note was on the floor in front of her. "Dear Sunset, you're free. You had enough silver that along with my pay I was able to convince Furronginous to let you go. You're friend, Brazen. P.S. Come down to the backroom. P.P.S. Will you be my girlfriend?" Sunset got up so fast when she finished reading that she forgot that her wrist was hurt. She hissed with pain but put the note in her pouch and limped down to the backroom. She would say simple "yes" and then, well, she didn't know, maybe theyd kiss? But all she could do when she got down was scream. (Blood warning!!) (Click) And it wasn't from excitement. Brazen was lying dead on the floor with a big gash in his throat. Sunset ran over to him and picked his face up in her talons. "Brazen! Brazen please wake up! Please!" Sunset sobbed as she got no answer but blood running over her talons. She felt a talon on her shoulder and saw --- "Brazen!?" Sunset couldn't believe it. 'I must be seeing ghosts' she thought but There was Brazen. Looking not at all transparent, and instead looking heartbroken. "Brazen, how are you here? And here?!" She first pointed at the very much alive Brazen and then to the very much dead Brazen. "That is my twin brother." Brazen said, choking on the words as they came out of his mouth. Sunset looked at the twin and saw that he didn't have the scar on his neck that Brazen did. And his eyes were more green that chartruce. Sunset got up from the twin and stumbled over to Brazen. She folded her wings around him and he wrapped his around her. In the middle Sunset basically held Brazen up as he seemed to collapse with grief. . . . Two weeks later Sunset had finally convinced Brazen to not go hunting for the murderer any longer. They were both in the forest at the time and didn't know that someone else was listening. "But where are we going to go now? I won't be back to the tavern and you don't have a place anymore, where are we going to go?!" Brazen yelled. Sunset didn't know either but calmly took his talons and said, "I don't know, Brazen, but wherever we go, we need to do it together." Brazen nodded and let his tense wings droop and let out the breath he'd been holding. "I'm sorry. But where are we going to go?" " (Click) Sunset opened her moth to say something but was interupted by two Icewings stepping into the clearing. "I think I know how to help you." One said in a kind voice and Sunset and Brazen, after a long debate, decided to hear them out. And it was more wonderful than anything they could've done on their own, because these Icewings, told them about God and Jesus and how much he loved them.
