Smilodon fatalis was a saber-toothed tiger that lived from the early Pleistocene to the early Holocene (2.5-0.01 MA). Smilodon fatalis was likely a social carnivore. The large canines were not like those of today’s cats and tigers. In fact, Smilodon wasn’t on the same branch as cats and tigers. Also, S.fatalis and others in the subfamily Machairodontinae had a different body build. S.fatalis had long, flat canines that were actually easy to break. This is one reason why the theory that S.fatalis was a pack hunter exists. Another reason is that we discovered their fossilized remains in tar pits. The S.fatalis gets a score of 60 to 75.
Note: I made this today. I don’t know how much time it took. Some parts aren’t that good, but it’s all okay for now. (the project is too laggy to make the background more nice)
