I saw the original project recently and it legitimately made me cry. FireMayro was a really cool person I met on Scratch, and it's really sad to see him go. So I wanted to send this message to him. (clears throat) FireMayro, I understand why you want to leave, and I understand your feelings about the Scratch community. Scratch should not be a website full of mean and harsh people always focused on themselves and their own improvement. It should be a website for people to--as the slogan says--imagine, program, and share. It should be a website for people to easily socialize with others and make new friends. That's the purpose of the Scratch website. I know you weren't specifically talking to everyone when you said we were commonly self-centered and other things like that, but I'm not that kind of person. I usually try to be calm and polite on Scratch, giving positive feedback, comments and other things, and I'm always open for treating other people with respect, like this project does. Anyway, I know it's not easy moving on. I'm going to have to probably move on from Scratch one day too. And it won't be easy. I've used this website for years and I would be devastated to have to quit it because of how much fun I've had with it and how far I've come with it, and I would assume you're upset about it too. But it's your choice on what to do. You can't let other people try to control you. Anyway, with that said, I made this to give one final goodbye to you. I'm going to miss you a ton. Many of us on Scratch will. I'm sorry that you aren't comfortable with the Scratch community, and I'm also sorry I'm so late to find out about this. But, regardless... Stay strong, FireMayro, and I hope you have a good life and a great future ahead of you. Sincerely, egilbertson27
