Hi there! It's Jenna here :3 I came up with this story at about 11pm, let that be a lesson to you, some ideas only come when you are trying to sleep xD Jokes aside, I set this plot during the First Dynasty in Egypt, when courtiers used to be ceremonially killed along WITH the pharaoh when he died. Some of the details may be historically inaccurate; for instance, although Djer was real, and buried with around 300 courtiers, I have no idea if he died of a sickness.
