Her parents fought frequently and she was just waiting to escape. She had a younger sister, and was waiting for her sister to be old enough to leave with her. Finally, the day came and the two left, leaving their parents to fight without them. They moved to a cozy cabin in the woods, where they could enjoy the silence and peace without anyone to trouble them. It lasted for a while, until Lyric's sister developed health issues that required her to be hospitalized and ultimately resulted in her death. While she was in hospital, Lyric would bring her gifts and things, but now that she's gone, Lyric can hardly look at them. She wears a scarf around her neck that was a birthday gift for her sister, as a way to remember her.
