Woo! Another CC! XD Yeah, yet another redo of a CC from last year o3o Idk why I'm not creative anymore Yes, I know it's still November X'D I just like to give people time to finish <3 (excuses Jay excuses) Well, anyways, onto the rules! _______________________________________________________ -RULES- - Please be kind! Your best effort may be better than others, but that doesn't mean they didn't try! This includes being nice to yourself, as well. Don't say "omg this is terrible sorry" or something in your description. I know it's tempting, I've done it before myself, but putting your work down will not help you get better. - Don't just use the fill bucket. Actually add design, rather than just randomly putting colours together. Basically try to do the ok example, or even better! - DON'T use/trace/copy etc. the lineart or examples without permission! Of course you can use the lineart if you're entering, but once it's closed you may not use it. You also MAY NOT use this for ANYTHING outside of the contest! It's not your art, please do not treat it as such. - Remix with your entry, please! :) If you don't I won't be able to keep track of it. - There will be three winners, and a couple of honorable mentions. I'm sorry if you don't win, but you can't whine about it. And if it just so happens you ARE the winner, please don't brag about it. No one likes a bad sport. - Keep it appropriate for Scratch. Here are the guidelines in case you've forgotten: https://scratch.mit.edu/community_guidelines/ - Be creative! :D Doing the same thing as other people may be tempting, but it just makes the contest bland and boring. Add your own little spin on it! - You MAY change the lineart, but it must be recognizable. - I would prefer you don't change the song, but if you find one that seems to fit your entry better, I guess you could change it ^^" (alternate versions, such as Nightcore or a cover, are totally allowed and it'd be cool to see you use them! <3) - Only one entry per person. You can make more than one, but only your first one will count. :) - All entries must be in by Dec. 25! :D (Christmas!) After that you MAY enter for fun, but know your entry won't be counted as I'll already be choosing the winners. (NOTE- I might not be active the day this contest closes, so please, try to be patient with the results!) -Please try your hardest, don't just scribble. - Follow these rules or else you will most likely be disqualified. Thanks! - Have a ton of fun!! What's the point of entering if you aren't going to enjoy it? - And lastly, if you read the rules and DIDN'T just skip to the bottom, please comment what you think is the most important rule ;) (press space to see bad, ok, good, and possible winning examples!) ___________________________________________________ -GUIDE TO THE EXAMPLES- Bad example: You can tell that not much effort as gone into it, and overall it's not too appealing to the eye. Please refrain from making something like this. Ok example: This one is better than the last. You can tell that some effort has gone into it, and it looks much cleaner and neater than the last one. However, there isn't any shading, and overall the background and design are pretty generic. Good example: Again, you can tell that this one is better than the last two! There was much more effort put into it, the shading is pretty good, and the design on the cat is fun and unique. (I won her in an adoptables, please don't use her design! Thanks!) I would love if it if you could do something like this, but it would be neat if you could strive to do something like the next one! ;) POSSIBLE WINNING EXAMPLE: Fun and very appealing to the eye, again you can tell a ton of effort was put into this! There's multiple layers of shading, things blend together well, and the detail on the eye is much more visible! Please try to make something like this (BUT- don't copy it! Add your own designs and ideas!) _____________________________________________________ -INFORMATION ABOUT ART PROGRAMS!- (IMPORTANT!) Alright, so when the results on my last CC came out, multiple people were complaining that it wasn't fair that the "people with art programs" won. First off, that's being a bad sport. Accept you didn't win, please. These people did an amazing job. (it's okay to go "shoot!" or "aww that's too bad, but congrats to the winners!" but don't take it too far) Secondly, EVERYONE- yes, EVERYONE- has access to programs outside of Scratch! I can't tell you enough that Kleki.com and Pixlr.com are free and online- no download needed! Some people who used those actually won in my past CCs, so don't complain! Thank you! ____________________________________________________ -TIPS- *Note* These are not rules, you don't have to do them. But doing them WILL bump up your chance of winning! - Use another program - Animate - Shade - Add texture and detail! - Add cool effects (not to much, though!) Whew, that's about it! Have fun, and Happy Holidays! <3
Thanks to @Jaycat111 for creating this CC! =D This is another of my OCs called Echofeather. Backtory: So Echofeather was born a clan cat and grew up in the clans her entire life. One day though she was out with two of her friends in leafbare when they stumbled upon a twoleg den. Since they had nothing better to do because the clan was already completely fed thanks to their system of catching food, they all entered the den because of a dare. Little did they know that it was Christmas that day. They were all shocked at the beautiful decor of the den. There was a fire going in a rush, stone hole in the wall but it didn't seem to be able to burn anything so they continued searching the den. Echo feather saw a small and fuzzy thing with little white puff balls that looked like snow except were a lot softer. She found that it was meant to go on something's head and tried it on her own. After a little struggle she managed to get it right on her head. <----------- (in this scene) Echofeather's friends saw the thing on her head and started laughing playfully. She blushed a little and stuck her tongue at them. You can bet they were in trouble when they made it back to their clan.
