(If you’re wondering, arc 1 ended at chapter 20.) This chapter took forever to make- really because there was a whole bunch of temptations that I gave in to hahaha And now,, the buffer is officially back!! Chapter 37 will be out later next week (see the ‘next’ filler for exact date). Before you ask, Tristis and Wave are siblings. Tristis is his older sister- former mates with Shroom. The palette on this chapter was so fun I love using unrealistic backgrounds for this comic and being dramatic. ( spoilers for the chapter ) Finally, finally, FINALLY!! We have FINALLY been able to reveal Wave’s backstory!! Y’all don’t know how long I’ve been waiting to reveal this information. I’ve showed several flashbacks or hints but not the completed thing!! So, to explain a ‘soul attack’. Basically; it’s a big attack that can deal serious damage (by a wolf putting soul into it) but they die with it. To put soul into it, they have to put strong emotions into a fight. And well.. that’s how Splash died :( Also the mystery of Silver is FINALLY SOLVED!! Wave mentioned her in chapter two,, and he talked about her like she was alive. This is because he still wants to believe that she *is* still alive. That’s why you haven’t seen her all comic, because she’s not alive in the current timeline. Everyone: *enjoying the quiet* *freeze exists* Everyone: not you :( SOOOOO FREEZE IS BACK!! Who’s ready to party with the Pine Howlers lmao Also,, I wonder what Auburn was thinking about there. Y’know, the thing that caused him to have a panic attack? :) Also.. there’s a subtle hint I left in this chapter. You’ll figure it out soon enough.
