Species Name - Grundal Kingdom - Kingdom Animalia Looks - All grundals have short stubby snouts and very sharp pointed teeth. They usually stand from 2 foot to 3 foot, with the tallest recorded being 4 feet. They have furless ears that are often compared to a gremlin's ears. They can have stripes, a blotch on their snout, or no markings at all. Their eyes vary in color, often being colors no human eye could be, but on occasion they would be a green or a blue color. They have white outlines inside of their eyes, and the shape of these outlines symbolize their class. A heart shape indicates lower class, a flower shape indicates middle class, a star shape indicates upper class, and a grundal born without a shape indicates royalty. A grundal is born with no horns, but can grow anywhere from 0 to 4 horns, but more often a even number or 0. They have large paws with rather pointy looking toes on the end, however they are not dangerous and really very soft. On the sides of these arms, some sub-species of grundal have wings that are too small to carry their bodies, but the sub-classification of grundal that have these wings use them to catch themselves when falling from the high tree tops they call their home. These sub-classifications (treetop grundals) have netural tones that are often browns, creams, ect. Another sub-classicfication of grundal are land grundal, who often come in earth tones. They are wingless and have more nocturnal habits than any other sub-classification, although they can't see very well in the dark. The final sub-classfication are the underground grundals. These grundals come in unnatural shades, such as lavender, navy, and sky blue. Underground grundals have much better night vision than either other species of grundal. They have more dexterious front paws so they can scoop land out of holes easier. All grundals wear a collar with a chain attached to it, due to humans deciding that they were 'dangerous' due to their looks. Diet - Grundals are mostly herbivoirs (words?) who do enjoy the occasional meat on their traditional holidays.
