Chapter 2 Ready to Go When Lena finished breakfast, she quickly went upstairs to get changed; she was so excited to go back to Hogwarts. She wore one of her finest clothes she could get, with a sunflower necklace she had made for herself. Then she climbed downstairs with her Hogwarts trunks she had packed 2 weeks ago and wore her neatly polished shoes. She checked if she had packed her school books(which she and her dad had bought in the Diagon Alley) and sketchbooks and of course, her hazel brown tabby cat, Cory. Cory mewed sweetly as Lena patted her head. When her dad came, Lena asked, “Are we going there with brooms?” “Of course not, dear. Brooms are highly noticeable for Muggles. We are going to use something that Muggles call the ‘Cars’.” answered Xenophilius. “Cars? I learnt it in Muggle studies! But Fred said that it is way harder than riding brooms! Are you sure, dad?” asked Lena worriedly. “Why not? I’ve been driving cars for ages! Haven’t you seen it in our garden?” “Oh, THAT was the Car! I didn’t even know what they look like!” “Yes, Arthur told me about it. He lent me that car. Unfortunately, not the flying one.” “It’s FORTUNATE that we didn’t get the flying one, dad! And we should really hurry to King’s Cross! Apparently, we only have half an hour and I don’t want to miss the train!” “Right, right. Let’s go now.” Lena and Xenophilius hurried toward the gate with Lena’s trunks and Lena sat in the car, holding Cory. “Off we go! Say bye bye to the Lovegood’s house, Lena!” cried Xenophilius joyfully, while Lena waved her hand and thought of her departure she would be taking at the King’s Cross Station.
