Chapter 3 In the Hogwarts Express “See you, dad!” Lena cried cheerfully, when she got onto the train. She moved along the corridor of the train, looking for an empty compartment when Lavanta Brown called from the behind, waving at Lena. “Over here, Lena! I’ve found a compartment! Hermione’s here too!” exclaimed Lavanta. “Oh, thanks, Lavanta!” cried Lena while running to the compartment Lavanta was pointing at. When Lena and Lavanta moved in the compartment and sat down, Hermione gave each of them some colourful bunch of papers stuck together . “Oh, it’s so great to see you guys again! These are called ‘Post-it Notes’! I’ve got these from one of the Muggle markets. You can write some notes on there and stick it on the wall or your table! These are really good for note-taking, you know….” explained Hermione. “Thank you so much, Hermione!” Lena thanked and Lavanta nodded with a thankful smile. “Harry and Ron just went to change into their robes. They will be here in about a minute.. I think you guys should get changed as well,” Hermione suggested, “You can change here.” she said when Lena and Lavanta tried to stand up to go to the toilet to change. When the two girls sat back down with their fully dressed robes, Harry and Ron came in. “Hey Hermione-” Harry glanced at the others, “you guys are here too!” “Hi Harry and Ron!” Lavanta exclaimed cheerfully. “So what were you guys up to?” Ron asked. “Not much. Got some beautiful Post-it Notes from Hermione!” Lena replied. “Oh, of course. Hermione bought a bag of those! It’s all for ‘STUDYING’, you know.” Ron explained as Hermione shot him a fierce glare. “Uhhhhh….guys...umm why don’t we play Exploding Snaps?” Lena interrupted, trying to stop Ron and Hermione. “That’s great!” Harry agreed, looking at Ron and Hermione with worried eyes. “Right. FINE.” Ron replied, looking annoyed. Lena, Lavanta, Harry, Hermione and Ron played Exploding Snaps when the train stopped in front of the Hogsmeade Station. “Ahhhh…. I missed here so much ....” Lena said, looking around. “Finally I’m home!” Harry exclaimed, while he got off the Hogwarts Express.
