Sorry for the wait school is overwhelming!! POV: Jade The cold floor seemed to burn my skin. With every shaky breath all my muscles ached. My mind seemed to drift in and out of consciousness. My thoughts couldn't stay on one topic for long. 'Summer...' My head pounded when I tried to think to myself '...me...' more pain flared in my chest I took a sharp inhale and my thoughts continued '...gone...' I couldn't do much more than think, heck I could hardly think, it hurt to much, and that was saying something. It had been a while since I was taken, but who was counting? Well the only thing I was counting was how many days me and Summer had been apart. seven days... I think. I started to lose track around three. My sanity starting to leave me. I can't believe how wrong I'd been about Amber. I should've been a good friend for the time I had left with her. Instead I accused her of murder, and I learned the hard way that I was wrong. Oh how could I have been so wrong, and if I just kept my mouth shut and minded my own business would that have made it better? Would it have at least spared Summer? My mind flashes back to the moment I woke up: My head pounded against my skull in harmony with my pulse. The lights blinded me, and a dull throb started at my left temple. To my right I looked, and saw Summer sitting in agony looking like she'd just woken up. She had a dog's electric collar strapped against her neck. "Summer!" I said then a sharp pain crawled into my neck, and all the way to my head then down to my heart with a loud yelp of pain. I had just gotten electrocuted for talking? What kind of sick joke was that? That was when I remembered me and Summer being taken, the person who took us had hit us with a hammer in the head so hard we passed out. Summers wagged her finger at me in a way that told me: Don't talk. I've already tried. Loud footsteps pounded down the stairs and I grabbed my sisters hand, for what would be the last time. a male figure with a clown mask minus the funky hair, he was wearing a black hoodie, gloves, jeans and boots. The only thing that stuck out was a stream of creamy blond hair that fluttered around his mask. Seeming to be stuck with sweat. "Ahh... you two are awake." His muffled voice sounded behind the mask. "Don't try to speak girls. And to answer your question the mask is for precaution. I don't wanna have to pay someone to take out anymore cameras Blaze was worth it though." He shuffled his feet and started pacing. "She was moved from the ranks in one second. From Alpha to dead in the blink of an eye." He looked at Summer, and I. "You girls, were a threat. You figured out to much." He pointed at me. "You, Jade Kaster are the reason the two of you are here." That stopped me. Stopped my breathing. Stopped my heart. Summer squeezed my hand, I think she was trying to tell me he was wrong, but that went straight through my head, but the boys words didn't they burned into my skull. Stayed there forever. All my fault. "I am the fiery phantom." The boy said "And you two are as good as dead."
