choose the time interval that you will attempt to estimate, then choose a difficulty! try to hold the button for exactly as long as the time interval you chose. if you get the time exactly correct (which is technically possible), you will get points equal to your difficulty score, but if you are off of the target time (which will basically always happen), you will get points depending on your difficulty and how far off you are. THRESHOLDS TO EARN HALF POINTS: at a difficulty of 10, you need to be within around 11.8% of the target time to earn 50% points (which is 5 points). at a difficulty of 25, you need to be within around 4.7% of the target time to earn 50% points (which is 12.5 points). at a difficulty of 50, you need to be within around 2.4% of the target time to earn 50% points (which is 25 points) at a difficulty of 100, you need to be within around 1.2% of the target time to earn 50% points (which is 50 points) THRESHOLDS TO EARN ANY POINTS AFTER ROUNDING: at a difficulty of 10, you need to be within around 42.9% of the target time to earn 0.001 point at a difficulty of 25, you need to be within around 18.0% of the target time to earn 0.001 point at a difficulty of 50, you need to be within around 9.3% of the target time to earn 0.001 point at a difficulty of 100, you need to be within around 4.8% of the target time to earn 0.001 point for a dynamic calculator and graph, here's a desmos graph, instructions included: https://www.desmos.com/calculator/lucbngeolc edit: seems like the calculator is off. im too lazy to fix it so whatever
