Mo Rose, a criminology major and aspiring homocide detective, works as a part time murder podcaster and has stumbled upon a case from 100 years prior about a group of people who have "a misplaced or excessive admiration for a particular person or thing" towards an enigmatic miracle worker who was viewed as a sort of druid. through strange paranormal activity, she comes to find that the miracle worker was a past version of herself, who has come to aid her rescue from said group. However, Mo Rose is distrusting and believes the claims, until The Miracle Worker sends her into a flashback.
