Use arrow keys and space bar to navigate x Hi everyone! I'm back with another art dump. I'm sorry for the inactivity, recently I've been working a lot more on personal projects and studies, and other various things I'm not too keen on sharing here. That aside, I have made some more art that I can share here. Piece notes: 1. This is some art I did of my friend's ocs a while back. I actually can't say much about it since I don't really remember drawing it but I still really like the colour palletes and simple shading. A lot of the time I try to do really complex pieces, but knowing simple stuff like this works really is nice. 2. This is a redraw of my old reference for my oc Auburn! It's been a while since I've finished a fully rendered lineart piece like this, but I love how it turned out! I experimented a lot with the blending in the shading, and had a lot of fun messing with some of the colours. My favourite part is definitely the wings, they're just so cool!! If I could change one thing I'd clean up the lineart a bit more, because the roughness made a lot of the colouring painful. 3. This is an updated reference for my oc Tara, since she's gotten a pretty big revamp. With the ref I wanted to work on usuing more in character posess and showing all angles of a character, which I think turned out nice. I sketched traditionally beforehand, which I think helped the poses look more natural and fluid. I probably won't be posting much about Tara, since she's part of a project I'm trying to keep on the down low, but I wanted to share xeir reference because it was something I was proud of. 4. Some concept art for a comic of mine. Not much to say here yet. 5. A test piece I did of Tara after I purchased Clip Studio, pretty rough but I like it. 6. Another concept drawing of an oc from the Tara-verse, her design is different now, but I still like how the concept turned out. I especially like the colours, though I would definitely try to frame the face more next time. 7. A more stylistic piece I did of my oc Hiro. I wanted to mess around with more stylistic proportions. 8. A quick sketch of my spidersona and their gf. 9. A study I did of a photo I saw on pinterest. I wanted to focus on quick-sketching lighting and anatomy. I do really like how this turned out. I think I've improved a lot stylistically and technically recently, so this piece feels like a good representation of that.
