*PLEASE READ EVERYTHING* Filmatory is… closing! Well, kinda. In case you didn’t know, we’ve gone through major leadership changes in the last four months. We had a change of CEO, VCEO, and various other leadership positions. After close analysis, current CEO @CrazySalamanderTV will be stepping down as CEO of Filmatory, and I, @-Nphantom10, will be resuming my duties as CEO… Well, kinda. Now that I’m CEO again, I’ve realized that the downward trend in Filmatories efficiency and other aspects began way before I stepped down, which is why I am closing Filmatory. Well, kinda. Filmatory will be closing, but not as a whole. As apart of the FRP project, which many of its reforms won’t happen, at least one did - In the project, we outlined the opening of a almost completely independent sister studio titled “Redwood Films,” which will be run by @-xninja-. Redwood Films will now make a transition into an independent studio, no longer affiliated with the soon to be closing Filmatory. All current members of Filmatory will be offered a position at Redwood. Furthermore, Filmatory will remain open in some regards. However, it will no longer be based on Scratch. It will become a small production team (not company) that will animate and make animations when asked by me. These animations will not be posted here on Scratch, but will instead be uploaded on platforms like YouTube. This is why the Filmatory you know and love that makes animations for Scratch will be closing, and don the all new moniker of “Scarlet Night Studios.” Again, all Filmatory personnel have officially been “layed off.” No Filmatory member is automatically apart of Scarlet Night, however, all will be offered a position at the new Scratch based studio, “Redwood Studios” As for all current Filmatory productions, it'll be up to the directors and writers of those series if you'd like to continue them. If you join Redwood, I'm sure @-xninja- would allow you to. “Filmatory Legacy” is up and running, it’s a blog where you can receive occasional updates/posts from our old administrative team. Filmatory Legacy: If you have questions, ask below! Here is a link to Redwood: As I stated, Scarlet Night is invite only. However, if you’re interested, Scarlet Night will still be primarily run on Scratch. You can contact me on the following account if you’re interested in joining up: Redwood Studios:
