dev log - september 18 2023: after a week of planning, coding and testing, the very rudimentary basics of Yellow Ball Survival are finally finnished, and the game has been released! Introducing 2 mobs (zombies and sheep), 1 weapon (survival axe), 3 new blocks (trees, wood and workbenches), pausing, a crafting ui, slot keybinds and a functional inventory. upcoming content (appearing in order) - the underground dimension! spelunking awaits as you descend into naturally generating caves, where you can find rocks, ores and... bats? - new weapons! i have so many weapons that i plan on adding, including: axes, swords, pickaxes and even daggers! - new blocks. duh - a health system to make mob pvp more interesting. - new mobs to spawn on the surface and underground, like bats, skeletons, wolves and more. - save and load codes, so you can play from where you left off. - depth sorting. is it triggering that animals appear infront of trees and stuff? that won't happen again. - settings. it will get clunky. it will get laggy. optimise your game to a performance level you are comfortable with. - crops. introducing wheat and irrigation. it can even grow while you are in caves. neat!
