(This is just an intro! Kind of like a prologue. EECK!!! I'm so excited to write the rest!!!!) Sophie stepped outside her house to see a newspaper thrown onto the steps. She picked it up, "Hm," She said to herself "Another one gone" She looked up to the beautiful stars, wondering what it would be like if one of her family members was, as the newspaper put it, 'stolen'. From around the world, but mostly in Germany, kids ages eight through fifteen had been kidnapped, but with no note left behind. These kidnappers had been nicknamed Krampus, after the demon who would steal naughty children and eat them in Germany, like Santa Clause on evil steroids.
Sophie went to open the front door and flashed one last look at the stars. Weird, she could've sworn something crossed over the moon... She rushed to unlock the door. Hey, anyone can be paranoid sometimes. but right as she turned the lock she felt something take hold of her. She froze, then looked down. Dull as tar and jet-black claws were wrapped around her belly. "You should've been better." And with that, Sophie Anderson was swallowed up into the night. Speechless from fear. How little did the newspaper know what they had named the kidnapper was straight onto the truth. Krampus had struck again.
