Behold, a digital version of Apocalypse Chess, a chess variant invented by C.S. Elliott in 1976. This game requires a friend to play with. White chooses their move while Black looks away, and then Black makes their move. After that, both teams look at the board when it's time for both teams to attack at once. Pieces may now perform moves normally considered illegal. Depending on the move of the opponent, an illegal move can reward risky play or fail and earn you a penalty point. Get two of those, and you lose.
- Wooden Background from Wallpaper Flare I discovered this variant through a video by Triple S Games. There are instructions in-game, but if you still don't understand how to play you should watch the video: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/youtube/Hyft7UQsQRM
