I sometimes wonder if I am the only Furry who wasn't an Antifur before? Recently, i've seen a lot of people telling their furry story, how they found out about furrys and were like: "EW GROSS FURRY!", just to later become one. So, here's my furigin (furry-origin). I learned about furrys when i was like, i dunno, 7 years old? I saw someone wearing a fursuit on youtube and thought: "Whoa, that's so cool! I want to do this to!" I loved to dress up (still do), and started liking animal-books like Woodwalkers, Warrior cats and Animox. Shape-shifting has always been something I loved. "Fasching" (does that have a translation?) and Halloween have been my all time favourite holidays. I knew I was a furry. I love beeing one. When I was ten, I found out about z00philes. I don't like them. I am not one of them. I think they're gross, but I can't make them disappear, you know? The majority of the community is nice, supporting and creative, plus, every fandom or community has toxic and/or bad sides. But that doesn't stop me from beeing a furry. I noticed Therians and Otherkins earlier this year, and am questioning if I am one (Props. not tho, I would know my theriotype or animal I feel like, right? But I do love doing quads, it's fun). I still haven't told my parents I am a furry, but I've started making dragon puppets and almost convinced my mom to buy me a WoF book until she found out it's kinda like warriors, which she forbid me to buy by now (sadly). I'm trying to get them to buy me a dinomask off amazon for my birthday this year, since you can't buy them in any german stores since 2020. I keep getting way to exited when I see a random piece of fur in random shops, I gotta tell them soon. Well, that's pretty much my Furigin, what's yours?
