I'm going back to desc writing XD ~Chapter Ten~ The next day, when Madeline walked into Defense Against the Dark Arts class, she surprisingly saw Oliver Whistle sitting at the table between his two friends, Brian Blake and Miranda Tucker. 'I had no idea that they were well enough to come back to class.' she thought. she remembered when Ginny had told her when Miranda and Oliver were attacked by dementors. It was about five days ago, the day when Sarah told her that her father was a death eater. 'I hope she's alright.' Madeline found a seat by her friends and by the looks of it Sarah seemed to look fine. "You finally got here," Suzie said to her, "What took you so long?" "One of the first year hufflepuffs accidentally spill a whole pot of potion- I forget which one, but I helped her clean it up." Madeline quickly explained. "That's really nice of you..." But Suzie could not finish her sentence because Professor Lockhart entered the room with a cage full of pixies. "Boys and girls, I am very excited to show you all the wonders of the pixies." He announced. "Doesn't look very exciting to me." Whispered Ginny. Lockhart continued, "You are the first class to experience pixies, I bet you all are curious!" He put the cage down on his ginormous desk and started to open the creaky, little latch. As soon as he opened it, pixies started to fly everywhere. Students were either screaming, shouting, laughing, or just completely still waiting to see what will happen. Some pixies started ripping paper and throwing it all around the room, other ones were pulling hair, ears, clothes... "WHAT IS HAPPENING?!" Screamed Sarah. "IDK BUT WHATEVER THEIR DOING IT IS ANNOYING!" Replied Suzie. The noise was so ear-piercing that Lockhart covered his ears with some earplugs that were laying on his desk. Then he did something with his wand that forced all the pixies back in their cage. "Ahh, that's better." Lockhart took the plugs from his ears. "I honestly had /no/ idea that was going to happen. Anyway, shall we get to our lesson about the pixies? Please turn to text book page twenty-three." Madeline was relieved when class was done. She decided that day that she did not like Gilderoy Lockhart, even if he was a very famous author. As they were exiting the class room Ginny said, "Didn't Lockhart know that pixies were brilliant troublemakers!?" "I guess not!" Madeline said laughing. "Maybe he thought they were so cute that they would be perfect for today's class." She teased. "Maybe so, but I have made up /my/ mind that pixies are super ugly." Suzie laughed. "Oops! I left my book in the class room. I'll go get it real quick." Sarah left to go get her book. While they were waiting for Sarah, the trio of Oliver, Miranda, and Brian passed them. Madeline tried to ignore them by talking to Ginny. But she could not help hearing dome of their conversation. "That was the most fun class I have ever attended!" Brian was saying. "I thought it was super loud and crazy." said Miranda. "It was an 'ok' class." Oliver added. After that Madeline could here no more. But just then, Sarah came back with her book. "When I went back to the class room I saw Lockhart sticking his finger in the pixie cage." she said giggling. "One of them bit him and he yelled." The four girls started to laugh so hard. "He probably was trying to pet one of them." Ginny said while still laughing. After the days classes were all done, Sarah and Suzie decided to go to their dormitories to take a nap. However, Ginny and Madeline decided to study Divination in the library. "I think that divination is one of the harder subjects." Madeline said matter-of-factly. "I agree with you. Sometimes I don't understand some things in the divination text book." Ginny replied. Madeline nodded and they continued their way to the library.
