A game from last year I made on a random trash account and never published Not sure if this counts as an fps or not Here are the changes I made right before publishing the game - changed the title from uh oh to Uh Oh Classic - fixed a bug that made fires get really angry very fast - added the option to reset your high score - changed the time it takes to increase difficulty - added a timer I’m willing to remake this game, because this version is really buggy and Halloween is near!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!! __________ // MECHANICS - fires spawn very frequently, shoot them before they bite you or you will lose health - pups are rare enemies that zoom across your screen and deal heavy damage if they get to the other side, so shoot them before they do so - you gain more points the better you aim - shoot candies before they despawn to restore health, if a candy heals more than enough health, the remaining amount will be converted to points - the game’s difficulty will raise every twenty seconds by one, the higher the difficulty, the quicker the enemies (difficulty will stop raising at 30) - if you happened to die, press the flag to play again, your high score will be saved __________ // POPUPS Here are all the situational popups you probably don’t ever have time to read during a game Taking damage - oof ouch - that stings - that hurt - my bad - how did i let this happen… - i’m fine Shooting an enemy - dead on - that was close - oof ouch - bulls eye - one down - boom Restoring health after shooting a candy - tastes sweet - tastes bitter - tastes minty - tastes sour - tastes...ghostly - is this even candy? Difficulty raising (accompanied by a sound effect) - get ready - be prepared - warning - watch out - uh oh __________ // STATUSES The status variable changes with gameplay, it’s set to ‘alive’ every time you start a game Statuses based on kills 100 - in the zone 200 - on fire 300 - absolute unit 400 - godlike 500 - bloodshed Statuses based on health 50 - weary 25 - panicking 1 - survivor 0 - dead Additionally, when your status is ‘weary’ or ‘panicking,’ it will become ‘refreshed’ after shooting a candy __________ // DEATH SCREENS Uh oh also has dynamic death screens which change based on how well you did *some death screens will prioritise over others Great job! - you died! - get over 100 kills - get less than 3500 points - get a score lower than x7.5 of your kills Amazing! - you're great at this! keep going - get more than 100 kills - get more than 3500 points - get a score lower than x7.5 of your kills Nice aim! - get more points for your precise shooting! - get over 100 kills - get a score higher than x7.5 of your kills Congratulations! - that's a new high score! - get a new high score Uhh... what? - get up, you can do better than that - get less than 100 kills __________ // KNOWN BUGS - For an unknown reason, fires will sometimes leave a white silhouette after being shot which doesn’t deal damage, but still plays it’s animation - to get rid of it, just shoot the silhouette again, although it is an annoyance to players which wasn’t intended to be in the game and i have no idea how to fix it __________ CHEATS - cheats can only be accessed with a keyboard - press z at any time to toggle cheats on/off WHILE CHEATS ARE ACTIVE - press f to summon a single fire - press p to summon a single pup - press c to spawn a candy - press space to instantly kill every enemy on screen - press the up/down arrow keys to instantly raise/lower the difficulty (minimum 0, max 30) *lots of bugs can be caused with this - (added 2023) press r to reset your high score Note that cheats are not intended for legitimate gameplay __________ No fires or pups were harmed in the making of this game, primarily because they are already dead
