chapter 1 book 1: my parents and our neighbors Mr and Mrs brown weren't the ones to to neglect those with "differences" and I was no exception from the start i was odd a weirdo to some and a scientific fascination to others but i never seemed to surprise me i always had weird things happen to me from lifting things with my mind to flying into my neighbors backyard i have always been "Keen to chaos" as my parents say but i'm actually very well behaved i have the "quirk" under control at least now i do thanks to "training" i was given apparently I'm a witch a no maj born to be exact at least that's what they call me but I've heard there's other terms in Britain and other parts of the world I go to school well actually I went to a school called Ilvermorny School of witchcraft and wizardry the four founders of Ivermorny are Isolt,Webster,Chadwick and James for each founder there is a house I'm proud to say I was put into the house of Isolt are animal mascot is a horned serpent Isolt's favorite animal magical animal that is anyway I've been going to Ivermorny for about a year now and although it was okay I'm much rather go to a different school one that would give me far more education a school like Hogwarts School Witchcraft and wizardry I was actually sent a letter from Hogwarts a few days after my 11th birthday but only problem was Hogwarts is so far away it's a whole ocean away my parents were worried if something happened they couldn't come and help and transport wise we have no idea how I'd get there floo powder might work but its still quite hard so my parents made a deal i would try out Ivermorny for a year and if i wanted to go Hogwarts after that was my choice of course I wanted to go to Hogwarts it's one of the best schools around and like my parents had said that meant i get to go to Hogwarts yay! and today is the Day! exstreme yay! I wake up suddenly i hear my younger siblings running around in our cozy but small house i yawn i barely got a wink of sleep last night i was to excited and nervous to sleep i tidy my bed and stand up and bump my head on my sister's part of the bed she has the top bunk i have the bottom i put my hand where i bumped my head ouch well that hurt my sister taps me on the back "is today the day?" she asks she seems more excited then me probably because i told her I'd give her my old wand (it has no core so she is safe) "yes" i reply "you look sleepy" she says "thats because i am" i say groggily she goes through my closet and grabs my old wand out "i declare you to not be tired!" she says waving my old wand around in circles "glad someone is excited" my mom says she too looks tired she dark splotches around her eyes she was up late packing stuff and confirming time with arrival and stuff "do you have the-" i start to ask "floo powder? yes i do" mom says "good and you read the instructions right the long travel manual thing?" i ask I'm stressed "yes i have i also had your clothes and stuff transported" she says she gives me a tired smile "it's not to late to be normal" she says i scoff "and take a plane uh no thank you besides you know i get motion sickness" i say sassly "ok well I'm going to make breakfast" mom says and she walks out of the room. ~end of chapter 1~ (ik this is a short chapter)
