"What?" Her eyes sprang open, and she yanked her curtains aside, pressing the SNOOZE button on her clock. She yawned, stretching. She glanced at her clock's face, spotting the Great Hall hand pointing to Luna's face, and Dormitory pointing to Draco. And, to her surprise, the library hand pointed to Raven. She stood up, pulling on black robes and boots. She left the dormitory, running down several flights of stairs to the Great Hall. She first walked toward the Slytherin table, then turned, heading toward the Ravenclaw's table. She passed by where Ginny sat, and she smiled, waving at her. Ginny smiled back, she was sitting next to Harry and Hermione. To her utter shock, Ginny got up and walked over to her. "Why don't you come sit with us?" She suggested, "Look, the teachers are so busy with those Slytherins they won't notice." Alessia turned, Ginny was right. She turned to look at the Ravenclaw table, but no one seemed to miss her. And why should they? She was a nobody. She was just the nerd who everyone ignored. The friendless girl. But she followed Ginny to the table. Ginny sat next to Hermione, and gestured for Ron to move so they could sit across from each other. Alessia nervously sat between Harry and Ron, and looked down at her plate. "Harry, Hermione, Ron, this is Alessia." Ginny said, "She's in Ravenclaw, but she's super nice." She smiled. "Nice to meet you." Harry said, and she blushed. Hermione put a piece of toast on her plate, smiling. "You two look really.." "Similar? Yeah, we've gotten that before." Ginny filled in. Alessia smiled, taking a bite of toast and checking her watch. "I'd better be getting to class, thanks for letting me sit with you!" She hurriedly got up and exited. She arrived in transfiguration late, but other than a sharp look from McGonagall, she received no punishment. Morgana glared at her, but she ignored the girl, and copied the wand movement the professor showed them. Poof! Her hedgehog turned red, it's legs and head shrank, and its quills turned into pins. "Well done, Black." McGonagall said, walking past her desk. "Thanks!" Alessia grinned. The Death Eaters had explained she would have to use a different last name while at Hogwarts, because her parents were dead, and no one knew where she came from. "10 points to Ravenclaw." She grinned, and Luna smiled at her. As class ended, Morgana walked over. "Teacher's pet this year too, I see. And you've got to be in our house. Ughh.." "Hey! I am NOT!" Alessia replied furiously. "How dare you!!" "Ha. Yeah, right LOSER!" Morgana scoffed, walking away. "Hey Alessia, Quidditch tryouts are this Friday!" said a girl from behind her. "Oh! Hello. I don't believe we've met before?" She asked uncertainly. "I'm Azara." The girl smiled good-naturedly. "Second year Ravenclaw, and an aspiring Chaser. Thought you might want to know, seeing as you beat us last year." "Thanks!" Alessia smiled. She liked this new girl. "And-uh, would you happen to know which way our common room is?"
