Simple toy model to develop intuition for multiplying complex numbers. The grid shows the complex plane in the range -2.4 < Re(z) < 2.4 and -1.8 < Im(z) < 1.8. The green ball shows the value of w+z. Change the value of z by moving the mouse pointer. Change the value of w by using the WASD keys, or press the space bar to select a new random value.
