ohhh man. newtspark. where do I even begin? I don’t even really remember exactly when I created her. all I know is that it was a while ago, and I’m pretty sure I made her 19 moons, just like jaybrook was when I made her. perhaps I may have made her a bit younger, but too long ago to remember now. she was never meant to become what she is today - but then again, I never expected I would be running life in larkclan - later life in larkclan and beachclan - either, so both our lives took a different turn than we expected. newtspark was a warrior who wasn’t the kindest person - she was loud, and would always try to get her way. this wouldn’t have become too big a problem if she never became leader - but then she did, which fed into her ego, turned into something she became obsessed with, and overtime turned her into the totalitarian reigning lark that you all know! rping out her transformation from obnoxious warrior to evil leader was so, so fun, and I’m so glad it was able to work out and be realistic. thank you especially to raven, the rper of starlingperch, as that rp where newt and starling fought was where she as a character had truly changed :) rping with all of you and building newtspark’s life has been a joy, and I’m sad to see it go. but perhaps I’ll rp every once in a while in the dark forest, you never know :) - so here it is: my big thank you to larkclan. last september I believe, around this time of year for sure, I was at school one day and decided to check my messages, and that’s when I found out I’d been asked to be owner of larkclan. I accepted, and I’m so glad I did, and so, so thankful that I was chosen. I was never the most active admin in larkclan before I owned it, and I’m really glad I got to redeem myself by making it an active rp again. I’m also so touched that I would be asked to take over ownership of the new beachclan rp, too, combining it with larkclan. these two opportunities have helped to build my skills and confidence regarding managing things and I’m so happy and grateful for this - I feel like this will definitely benefit me in the future. also, getting to make art for larkclan and beachclan and the comic was so, so fun. so now, as I leave scratch, I wish the new owners of the rp, daisy, ginger, and pumpkin, the best of luck, and just remember to enjoy it. to have fun - don’t stress out too much! thank you so much lilab, my life is definitely better because I knew all of you <33
