Hey humans! @-total_nerd- / @RandomNerdyStuff here! I've seen a couple of projects like this and thought that it'd be cool to make one! (Thanks to @1-o-v-e for her awesome icon creator!) 1. Ages 5-8: - pronouns: she/her - gender: girl - orientation: nonexistent - has no idea that 2SLGBTQIA+ exists - super into purple - long hair - super quiet & doesn't have a lot of friends but couldn't care less 2. Age 9: - pronouns: she/her - gender: thinks she's probably a girl but honestly is super confused about it - orientation: nonexistent - still has no idea that 2SLGBTQIA+ exists - gets curtain bangs that turn out to be a disaster - slightly shorter hair - has literally 2 friends, one of which is a massive jerk and both of which abandon her by the end of the year 3. Age 10: - pronouns: she/they - gender: unsure - orientation: still nonexistent but unsure what it'll turn out to be - finds out that 2SLGBTQIA+ exists and immediately knows that they're queer - starts needing glasses & cuts hair in an effort to get rid of bangs - questions approximately 5 billion female-aligned gender identities (demigirl, paragirl, girlflux, etc.) - comes out to parents as girlflux even though they know it's not exactly correct - gets a few better friends 4. Age 11: - pronouns: they/them - gender: nonbinary/genderqueer - orientation: possibly omni - first kinda-maybe crush - hair is slightly longer - comes out to parents as genderqueer & omni, comes out to friends - has quite a large friend group but dislikes the majority of the people in it 5. Age 12: - pronouns: they/them - gender: nonbinary - orientation: doesn't know anymore - first definite crush - hair is slightly shorter again - starts junior high - stays friends with 2 people from old group and makes new friends 6. Age 13: - pronouns: they/them - gender: nonbinary, agender - orientation: ace & trixic - the crush continues - hair is slightly longer cuz short hair is a massive pain in the rear end - has a small but pretty tight friend group along with a few friendly acquaintances that they talk with occasionally and say "hi" to in the hallways 7. Age 13.5 (now): - pronouns: they/them - gender: nonbinary, agender - orientation: ace & finromantic - crushing on a different girl - massive haircut :DDD - has a small but pretty tight friend group (but some past drama between two other members of it is resurfacing and causing some ... issues) along with a few friendly acquaintances that they talk with occasionally and say "hi" to in the hallways
