Click the green flag and press space for the planes to move (Animation of the attacks and the consttruction of One WTC) Tuesday, September 11, 2001, World Trade Center 8:46 AM, people down below on the streets hear a large explosion and look up, they see that a plane hit the north tower. After the plane hits the tower they get showered in glass shards. 9:03 AM, the people hear a second explosion, they realize another plane has hit the world trade center. People start running to avoid the glass showering them. 9:37 AM, People at the pentagon in Washington, VA hear an explosion. When everyone gets out they see a frightening sight, they see that a plane has hit the building. 9:59, the people were shocked when they heard a loud crash up above, when they looked up they saw the south tower collapsing. 10:03, people living by a field in Pennsylvania see a large cloud of smoke and investigate to find that a plane has crashed. 10:28, the people down on the streets hear another loud crashing so they look up once again and see that the North tower is collapsing, people start running into buildings and ducking behind cars.
