"So, who are your parents?" asked June as we stepped off the train. "Luna lovegood and Neville longbottom." I said, me and June had gotten to be friends. "Mum`s old husband Rolf Scamander went off with Hannah Abbott, dad`s old wife, so Mum and dad got together" Elliot butted in.We walked across the platform in silence."Firs` years" shouted a tall man with a giant beard. "This way!!!" we sat in a rowing boat. Me and June were at the back and Elliot sat in the front with a dark skinned boy looking suspiciously at us. We rowed through the dark waters for a while. "I`m Alexander!!!" blurted out the boy, startling us. "What was that?!?" I asked. "The introduction?" said Alexander "No" I frowned then Elliot screamed and we all turned around. Underneath the water was a GIANT EYEBALL!!! We rowed as quickly as possible, and I collapsed on the dry land. "That was the giant squid" June said in awe. I followed the man into the castle. It`s pillars looked stunning in the dark, all lit up.Our deputy headteacher, Professor Flitwick told us the entry speech and we walked into the Great Hall. the glimmering stars were shown through the ceiling and There were floating candles casting a flickery light in the hall. We walked up to the end of the hall,with every step I took, more and more faces turned and I felt like disapparating, but just then a musty old hat, which I assumed was a teacher`s, burst into song. It sung of love and life and death and It finished with a hat-bow. I was dissapointed it stopped singing. Firstly Alex(ander) got called up. "SLYTHERIN" The hat boomed startling me. June frowned "his second name was Lestrange..." Next up Flitwick called "Lovegood,Elliot!" Elliot nervously placed the hat on his head "GRYFFINDOR!!". The queue thinned, June got hufflepuff, until eventually, and inevitably I got called up.I tiptoed up to the hat and placed it on my head. "Well then who is this?" the hat said inside my ear, making me jump, "Loyalty, Bravery, Cleverness, Cunning you would go well EVERYWHERE...however you are also kind making you a HUFFLEPUFF" it boomed and I placed it back on it`s stool, running to June. After everyone was sorted, Professor McGonagall said a speech. I didn`t listen to it because I was starving. Suddenly piles of food appeared on the table. "Yum!!!" I shouted grabbing food and putting it on my plate. after we had ate everything we could possibly eat we went upstairs into our common room. at the door was a painting of a baby crying. we had to sing to it to make it open. My bed was right next to June`s with bright canary yellow curtains, and I fell asleep within seconds BOO!!!!!
