None, the lift works automatically. Warning potentially loud sounds !
@Jon5432 @400voltliftfan @Liftfan2021 Hampi-Vator Brian's Stuff Beno All Title : MOTOR ROOM !!! 2001 EV hydraulic lift... This is the motor room of a 2001 Electra Vitoria roped hydraulic lift located at some flats in Portsmouth, UK. The hydraulic valve is a Blain EV 100 valve which is probably the most common/bog-standard valve in the UK along with the Bucher LRV 1 valve. The hydraulic pump is a Blain/Leistritz-style hydraulic pump which sounds quite similar to an ALGI hydraulic pump, but most of the hydraulic units made by both ALGI and Leistritz brands sounds the same, possibly because Blain/Leistritz and ALGI are from Germany. Kleemann pumps with Blain valve blocks also sounds like most Leistritz pumps. Some Leistritz pumps also sounds like some Bucher Hydraulics (Formerly known as Beringer) hydraulic power units. And guess what? Bucher and Kleemann are pump are also german pumps which can probably explain why almost all hydraulics sounds so similar in the UK. But at the Oceanogràfic's builiding in Valencia, Spain. There is an Otis 2000 H which has Moris hydraulic pump (I recognised by the sound of the valve and after seeing a few videos of Otis 2000 H hydraulic pumps, I noticed that some 2000 H's uses Moris pumps and I can identify Moris hydraulics by the sound of their valve since I realised that Otis used Moris pump in their 2000 H's hydraulic unit built-in a compact pump and controller cabinet and I've seen 1 2000 H with a Moris pump which wasn't in a cabinet (But near the logic cabinet). It was installed in 2002 and the really noisy and epic sounding motor sounded like similar to a hydraulic pump located in the motor room of a 1979 Kone roped hydraulic goods lift that got upgraded with a new pump manufactured by Bucher Hydraulics in 09/2002 and a new logic controller. That upgraded Kone lift is located at an undisclosed location in Vejle, Denmark. And Moris is an Italian brand. So, most hydraulic units sounds similar, no matter whe're they're manufactured. But most GMV hydraulics do sounds quite different to all Blain, Bucher, Leistritz, Kleemann, ALGI and some but not all Moris hydraulics, mainly because of the valve design. Also, most GMV HL, F1, T2, T3 and T4 pump units do sound really nice, they sounds far nicer than the Blain/Leistritz pump unit in this motor room, especially the ones manufactured bewteen the 1980's and 2010's, the ones I like the most are the 90's/2000's ones. Although, GMV lifts are really really Italian semi-generic junk, but they have 10 years guarantee. I've already used one which is located at Rolland Garros airport at St Denis de la Réunion in my holidays this summer, it was the lift in the arrivals section of the airport. It was a Home Lifty hydraulic which was built a very few years ago and was so slow and this is maybe the worst lift I ever rode ! It goes 0.15 m/s, has horrid Vega buttons, very flimsy doors, was ultra and I haven't even enjoyed the potential nice hydraulic motor sound because I only used it to go down and my phone was running out of storage aswell ! And also, this lift is a home lift in a airport ! That is laughably and ridiculously cheap and nasty ! And yes, it was so freaking boring ! It was so slow that I felt like I was waiting in a queue ! Anyway, let's go back to the main topic which is this hydraulic Electra Vitoria (Installed by Williams Lifts Ltd) lift motor room. This motor room also features some electrical steaths, some documents, the lift main power isolator, some switches, the lift circuit breaker box and the logic cabinet which has a bilingual spanish-english sign on it. This is quite a bit strange but I think it's because the persons who built this logic cabinet have put a bilingual spanish-english sign as since Electra Vitoria is spanish, the logic cabinet was built in Spain along with the sign. Also, the persons who made that sign were really clever because they known the exact voltages in the UK back in 2001 which were 240 V and 415 V (Now, 400 V and 230 V since 2003), they also written the year of manufacture of that cabinet & they also added the Williams Lifts Ltd. and Electra Vitoria logos. That's one of the most detailed sign I've seen on a lift logic cabinet door. But the lift commissioning date was written by the engineers from Williams Lifts Ltd. Anyway, I guess that's the end of the description. The lift in normal operation :
