Five dogs d-e on the tracks every day. Most of them are between the ages of 1 and 4. These dogs don't get a chance to experience life. If they aren't fast enough they are k-lled or dumped on the streets to d-e. Greyhounds are tattooed on the ears so people can identify them, so when they are dumped on the streets ... they 'Get rid of them'... Even if they let them live, they are kept in awful conditions. They are constantly muzzled, which stresses them out. I made this project because of a dog named Rusty. He was found behind a water tank after being... you know what in the head, without any ears. They rushed him to the vet, but they had to put him to sleep to end his suffering. He didn't deserve the awful life he had. He deserved to be loved by someone, not left to d-e. If you have the time and money to adopt an ex-racing Greyhound, please do. If you don't, you can help by donating to charities dedicated to helping them.
