Zvyozdnoe Leto is a science fiction novel originally written in Russian by the Soviet author Kir Bulychov and published in 1965. The English translation of the book, titled The Stars Will Speak, was done by Geoffrey Day and first published in 1972. The novel tells the story of a group of children who are sent to a distant planet to investigate a mysterious signal picked up by Earth's radio telescopes. They find a civilization that is far more advanced than their own, and soon become embroiled in a dangerous adventure to uncover the truth behind the signal. The book has become a classic of Soviet science fiction and has been translated into many languages.
