Writer's Notes: The reason I used Spoiled Rich as the antagonist, is because I wanted to have Starlight be in a CMC-type group, with her friend. Having Diamond Tiara's mom be the first bully to the first CMC-type group would be a great parallel. This is what could've happened if Diamond Tiara got under the group's skin enough to make them split apart. _____________________________________________________ "Stop!! Leave me alone!!" filly Starlight Glimmer screeched. "Go away!" Filly Spoiled Rich smiled deviously. "What makes you think that you, a blank flank, would ever outsmart me?!?" She asked with wicked grin. She raised a long, gnarled stick she had been carrying, and rained furious hatred down on Starlight. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! OW-- I'm sorry!" Starlight cried as she was beaten down. She put her hooves over her head, hoping to protect herself from the vicious strokes. She tried to roll out from under Spoiled Rich, but it was no use. "Your little friend, Sunburst, was it? He's not gonna hang out in your little "cutie mark club" anymore. He's got a cutie mark, and he's hanging with us now." Spoiled Rich sneered. "But you still don't have yours. You aren't special, and if you thought that for even a second, you'd be wrong. Don't even try to get in my way, or else I'll take more of your so-called "friends" away!" Lightning flashed in the distance, and the rain chilled both of the little fillies. A small trickle of blood was washed away in the downpour, as Starlight struggled to stand. 'If a cutie mark would do this to me, then I want no part of it!' Starlight furiously thought through the tears streaming down her face. 'Everyone should be treated equal...' _______________________________________________________
