Charlotte heard a rustling noise coming from the bed next to her. "Azara? Are you awake?" She whispered "Huh? Oh, Charlotte, it's you. Yeah, I'm awake," replied Azara. "Do you have to get a new wand?" Asked Charlotte "I umm I guess." Replied Azara "Ok then. Let's stop talking. I don't think we want the Lovegoods to wake up." Said Charlotte They stopped talking until breakfast. Professor Flitwick came and talked to them whilst they were eating the food. "The Headmaster asked me to tell you this," Professor Flitwick started. "You, and a maximum of two friends, will be excused from lessons for 3-5 days to go and buy a new wand, pet and broom." A broom? Charlotte was puzzled by that. Then, she finally remembered. Next week, there were the ᵠᵘⁱᵈᵈᵗᶜʰ ᵗʳʸᵒᵘᵗˢ!! Charlotte couldn’t miss those out! Charlotte and Azara ate their breakfast and went their separate ways. "Hey. Before you go to Transfiguration, I'll send you an owl, ok?" said Azara. "About what?" queried Charlotte. "You'll see." Charlotte arrived at Transfiguration and sat down in an empty seat next to no one - Yet. Someone walked in. It was Thomas Diggory. He was getting closer and closer. He sat next to her. "Hi." He said. "Umm hi." Charlotte said feeling herself blush. Thomas didn't see. Phew! she thought. The lesson started and they had to turn a bird into a water goblet. How on earth is that possible?! thought Charlotte, not wanting to mention it. She had a bird in front of her. "One, two, three vera verto!" She could hear around the room. She took a deep breath in and got her wand ready. "Three, two, one vera verto! Argh! No! It's wrong!" Her bird began to get bigger and then smaller and bigger then smaller. Then it stopped. BANG! The bird disappeared. Oh no! she thought. What will I do? Proffesor McGonagall came over and changed it back. Charlotte tried once more. "One, two, three vera verto!" Shouted Charlotte. The bird changed! Yes! she thought. I wonder how Thomas is doing? She glanced over and his face was black and his bird was smoking. "Are you ok Thomas?" She asked. "Yes." He said starting to cry, he ran to the boys bathroom and left Charlotte not knowing what to do at the end of class. She got out of her chair and began to walk out. Charlotte was walking back from class until she overheard a conversation. Just round the corner was that strange girl who looked like her talking to someone. "Hey, Marietta! We can talk now no one can hear." Said the girl who looked like her talking to her friend called Marrietta. "Yes please, can we? So Cho, is that girl your sister?" Asked Marrietta. "I seem to remember so but she won't remember me as I wiped her memory." Whispered Cho so quietly Charlotte could hardly hear her. Just then, interrupting the conversation an owl came swooping down and Charlotte had to hide round the corner. Cho and Marrietta walked off not noticing Charlotte. The owl landed on her shoulder and gave her a letter from Azara saying can we go to diagon alley together. She didn't have any parchment on her so she wrote the word YES! on the back and sent it back.
