TW: Uh, discussing of t0tvre? Probably 12+ (Looks to Slayde, sobbing and vaguely glaring.) Aster watched Kitty and Dawn come up with the best way to t0rture someone with a slightly pale face. He’d wanted them to bond, yes, but he never expected the human to connect to Kitty’s… /darker/ side. Couldn't the human have been normal and discouraged all of Kitty's murder plots? “So, like, I just think breaking each of their bones one by one would be a lot worse than starving them.” Kitty said. "Well, obviously. But what about fire?" “Eventually fire wouldn’t hurt anymore because you’d literally burned their nerves off.” "But if you leave them with second degree burns?" “Eventually you’d run out of skin to burn.” "You'd run out of bones to break eventually, too." "Well, yeah, but only like after 200 or something." "But some bones you can't really break...why not just do both?" "Ooh, that's fair, that's fair." "Sweet. We've got a game plan." Dawn glanced over in Aster's direction. "You okay? You're just standing there, gaping like a catfish if it learned it had to pay taxes." "When I learned we would be sharing the flat, I assumed the flatmate would /dis/courage Kitty's dark fantasies, not /en/courage them." "Eh, you should've done a background check on your flatmate." Aster sighed. "I really should've." Dawn grinned innocently. "But you didn't. And now I'm here, so suck it up, buttercup!" Aster scowled at her for half a second before the scowl slipped away. “Told you. He is physically incapable of hate,” Kitty said smugly. Dawn stroked her chin. "Very interesting. Very interesting indeed." "Indeed." Kitty agreed enthusiastically. "Now what?" "I don't know...I should probably work on the story I'm writing...it's been a bit." Kitty gasped. "You're a writer? I demand you share whatever you have with me." Dawn shrugged. "I dunno, I'm kinda uptight about who sees my stuff and it's not exactly a kid-friendly story. Aster might not let you read it." Aster waved a hand. "Believe me when I say it's practically impossible for it to be any worse than some of the things I've seen her read." Dawn raised an eyebrow. "For example?" "No." "Whatever, man." Dawn turned to face Kitty. "I'm not comfortable with you reading my stuff right now. Sorry, little gremlin." Kitty harrumphed. "Fine, be that way." "Maybe once we trust each other more. When Aster is convinced we've "bonded" enough." "Well that'll be never." "Eh, who knows. Being thrown together in the same house can have a big impact on two people's vibe." Kitty humphed again. "I'll talk to you two later?" "Where are you going? Can I come?" Kitty asked excitedly, seemingly forgetting her annoyance. "Not this time, gremlin. I need some time alone. I'm going to go find some remote place to disappear to for a couple hours. See you in a bit." "Awww okayyyyy," Kitty whined. Dawn smiled at her. "See ya later, gremlin." "Yeah, yeah." Kitty mumbled, turning away. Aster simply waved.
