Press space to read here<<< Or read here>> Christmas had finally arrived! Bella jumped out of her bed and slipped on a hoodie over her pajamas and rushed down the stairs to find James and Jake. When she got down to the common room there were three more people waiting for her than last night. "Bella!" shouted Harriet running up to her, Jack was close behind. They gave each other a welcoming hug. "come on guys it's only been three weeks," said a voice behind them. "Hi, Peter" Bella said as Peter pulled her into an embrace. "We brought presents," Jack said showing her a bag of wrapped-up presents. They all sat down and exchanged presents. Bella was given five presents from the others plus one anonymous one. The presents contained: - A box of sweets from James -A potions book and a new robe from Jake -A new Care of Magical Creatures book and new socks from Peter -A new cauldron from Harriet -A knitted jumper that Jack's grandmother made. As you can see Bella's friends were desperately trying to help get Bella to pass in potions. When she opened the last present there was a hoodie, no note, or anything, she decided to wear it to breakfast to see if anyone would mention it. When she and the others decided to walk to breakfast they heard a knock at the door and Bella answered it. It was Draco. Bella had completely forgotten and walked over to the others. "sorry, I agreed to walk with Draco to breakfast" Bella said and turned around. "when did you get close with Draco?" Peter asked. "I'll explain later" Bella said joining Draco. They started walking and the others were close behind. Bella and Draco talked about teachers and classes for most of the walk and she hoped that they would have more classes together this term. Soon, they made it to the great hall and Draco left to sit at the Slytherin table. Bella waited for the others and they sat down on the griffindoor table. This was the best Christmas ever. She was with her friends and finally felt at home but before Bella could finish her thought Jack interrupted. "right Bella spill." Bella explained to the others how close Draco and her had gotten throughout the holidays. They listened eagerly but weren't convinced Draco would change like that. She ignored their comments and they finished their breakfast. Soon the mail arrived and a package was dropped at most people's stations. Bella wasn't expecting anything so when the parcel arrived in front of her she was surprised.
