Nothing costs anything. Press start and enter the game's difficulty screen. Select your difficulty and wait for it to load. If you chose Hell mode, a boss will come out unless you destroy the Enemy Base first. Select a weapon and wait for the computer to send its troops. Select the troops at any time, as there are no turns. Weapons will have a reload bar. When a certain time passes after clicking a Weapon it will become a selection again.
