"Really? Just really?" Is what I said after seeing a little puppet in the shape of a skeleton "It's that bad?" Zach says, chuckling. "Yes it is! Why did you even want to be in this "Halloween Talent Show" anyways?" "So I could show off my skills! And if you say "what skills?" I swear-" he got interrupted by my fits of laughter. "Cat got your tongue?" "Little bit" I wheezed. I swear, I haven't laughed like this in a LONG time. "Come on, can't we just run-through the play one time?" "WE??" "Oh yeah I forgot to tell you! I signed you up too!" That day had a LOT of tackling. And fun! Did you know puppet shows aren't as nerdy as I thought? At that moment, Earl appeared through on of the balconies in the tower. Earl is my parents owl, and messages from him have NEVER been good. I opened the letter and it was in Shorthand. Shorthand is my parents secret language for secret stuff. AKA, this was BAD. Like bad-bad. Not that kind of bad where it's "oh well" but that kind of bad that's "oh no". "I...have to go. Sorry Zach. Same time tomorrow?" I said hastily, scared of him noticing. He raised an eyebrow at me, but that was about it, as it was almost past curfew and it was better we got going anyways. "Okay! And yeah, sure, I'll be here." He seemed normal, as I stormed out of the room. As soon as I got to my dorm, I read the letter. It read: Dear Aurora, I have recent notice of something happening at Hogwarts at the moment. If you haven't heard, The Chamber of Secrets has been opened, and even though we are pure-blood, it is a threat to us all. Protect your brother, and whatever you do, DON'T CAUSE DRAMA. Fond Regards, Father. I can't believe it. I thought the chamber of secrets was a myth! It can't be true! And the worst thing is, that it must be the reason Slytherin is getting even MORE hate these days! What next?
yay!
