so uhm in this proj ill be talking about the new jyp kpop girl group called VCHA. in case you dont really know what it is, heres a short summary: so basically it started with a survival program called a2k, which is short for "america to korea" and out of the many people only some of the participants were selected. They went through many evluations to finally get to the main part, where there were a small amount of participants, who went through more evaluations, and the show ended after 22 episodes, where the final members lexi, camila, kendall, kg, and kaylee finally got chosen as the members of the new group VCHA. _______________________ ꕤ first thoughts so first of all, i want to say, all of the contestants were super talented. although some people got eliminated for being behind compared to other members, a lot of the viewers dont think about how those contestants even got to a2k in the first place. they were selected by staff and jyp himself out of so many people, so i hope youd recognize that part. ______________________ ꕤ criticism recently, vcha and jyp have been facing some backlash, especially concerning kaylee. while all the others are around 16 yrs old, kaylee is much younger, being a 12 year old. netizens have criticized jyp for even debuting her and letting her join a2k in the first place, but the honest truth? kaylee DESERVES it. shes incredibly talented, and its not like jyp could just eliminate her, just because of her age when shes clearly very talented. ______________________ ꕤ i love her alright. LEXI (lexus) OMG ILHSM shes SO talented and pretty bro :sob: shes my bias along with kaylee lol but anyways its crazy that she gave up her ballet career she did for a whopping 12 years (literally kaylee's age bro) to pursue her dream as a kpop idol. like, the guts it takes to do that... _____________________ ꕤ diversity i love how much diversity there is in the group; lexi (hmong), camila (cuban), kendall (american-vietnamese), savanna (venezuelan-trinbagonian), kg (american), and kaylee (korean). it really shows that its not just asians that can be kpop idols, but other ethnicities too. _____________________ ꕤ music in general, their music is pretty good, and they're all really good in diff areas, so its kinda unfortunate that they had to debut in one group rather than in separate groups that suited their style but overall, i like it! i love how supportive they are towards each other, like during a2k when any member messed up somehow they would comfort them, checking in and congratulating them if they did good. the spirit!!! ________________________ ꕤ final words pls support vcha guys, they deserve so much! love you~ *PLS DO NOT REPOST*
