⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀♥ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀alexander hansley ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀♥ [ literally could not find any images for how i want him to look so ai two are pretty inaccurate sry :sobs: ] space / click bio ; [ had to split it up bc it was too long ] ❝ i'm just trying to help.. ! ❞ ⚘ alexander hansley [ bio name alexandra hansley ] ⚘ 18-26 ⚘ trans male [he/him], omni ⚘ alex's height what he would call average though he's a bit below. he stands at about 5'5" and has a relatively average build as well. not too skinny but not all that muscular, either. despite this, he can definitely give you a run for your money if he had enough adrenaline and reason. his skin is a nice tan with warm undertones. he has quite a few scratches and scars due to his rough living experiences as well as light freckles, from the sun, on his face. the scratches and cuts and such are all over his body, running the lengths of his arms, legs, torso, etc. he also has some bruises that tend to just reappear each time they're healed. his hair is a dark brown and messily styled around his head. it's short but not too short and very fluffy. he has a habit of running his hands through and fixing his hair so he would tell you it's pretty soft and nice. he enjoys putting various accessories and clips in his hair, too. his nose is a cute, upturned button-nose with a few of those light freckles on it. his ears are pierced though you could tell the holes are slightly uneven because it was sort of diy. his eyes are large, kind doe eyes with a darker hazel color and pretty lashes framing them, his soft eyebrows floating above. he loved jewelry and accessories so no matter what he's wearing he'll likely pair it with some bracelets, rings, earrings, hair accessories, etc. despite him wanting to dress very extravagant and out-there, things prevent him from doing so so he usually wears something comfortable. being a trans male he's quite self-conscious about his body, despite being relatively average in most things he still wishes he didn't have to conceal himself because of that. because of this, he tends to wear baggy clothes, like oversized sweaters, sweatpants, jeans, etc. he loves soft pastel colors and usually dresses accordingly, most of his sweatshirts are very cute. he also likes shorts but strays away from them since he fears if he wore actual shorts people would mistake his gender. ⚘
cont of bio ; ⚘ alex is extremely kind and caring. he's always looking out for people and trying make them happier than they already are. he's extremely cautious about what he says in fear it'll hurt people's feelings, though doesn't like lying so he'll say something that's a soft truth or just ignore and move on from whatever it is that was asked. in short, he's a people pleaser. he always strives for the best whether it be good first impressions or his friends liking him, if it's the best he can do he'll get there. he's very optimistic and tries to get others to be optimistic, too. despite all this, due to his rough past, he has a not of mental issues, like anxiety and borderline ptsd. he gets panicked and feels trapped easily, overthinks a lot, and shoves his emotions down in hopes they'll just go away. sadly, they end up coming out one way or another. he jumps every time a door is knocked at and doesn't like it when people stand behind him without him knowing they're there. also, if something happens like you get mad at him or something and raise a hand, maybe just gesturing, he'll likely lower his head and brace himself, expecting you to slap him or hurt him. he covers all this up with smiles and bubbly, optimistic behavior just to get people to like him like many never did. character-arc-wise, i feel like he wouldn't have the patience to become a lumen but would probably strive to help them. despite his severe trust issues he'd want to help defeat the tenebris in any way possible. i would make him a lumen but i honestly feel like he'd get bored after the first 5 minutes of meditating or whatever haha-- ⚘ he likes a lot of things, such as shiny things, ducks, pastel colors, fruit, sweet things, book stores, sunrises, snowglobes snow, fall, crunching on leaves and splashing in puddles, drawing, sneaking out, the stars, the moon, the sky in general lol, cloud watching, and so many more. he dislikes quite a few things, too, like loud noises [though he's gotten used to it], too-bright lights, crossing busy streets, people walking too close to or behind him, loud thunderstorms, arguing, bl00d, tight spaces, the dark. a lot of his hobbies are simply things he likes to do. he also likes to go to convenience stores, book stores, etc, but most of his hobbies are just things he likes to do. he fidgets a lot. like a lot. and if he's nervous or flustered he stumbled terribly over his words. he's also very bad at lying as he stumbles over his words then, too. ⚘ at birth, alex was given up to a foster home in which only a woman and a few other kids lived. it was nice, at first, until the caregiver began to take in more and more children. when asked, she said "you wouldn't understand," and when pestered, she'd say "it's for the money, not the kids. as if i like you stinky brats." then walk away. she had a few short temper and because of this the kids who lived in her too-small house were all abused, especially alex. she would always call it discipline, slapping them or beating them when they didn't listen, provoking their food, or making them sleep outside in the old dog house. there weren't many rooms nor beds but the older kids got more space because they were older. barely anyone got out of the home through adoption. maybe a few attempted to run away but the woman would go looking for them, eventually giving up if she couldn't find them. food was scarce and the oldest kids rarely got to it since they saw it more important that the littles got their nutrition. there all his life, alex learned all these things. he learned how to shut up when he knew he'd get slapped, not to duck or dodge because it'd only end worse, get home on time if she let's you leave, what time she checks the rooms to make sure you're asleep, which windows you could easily crawl out of, etc. they even had a guy, one of the older kids, who'd found a way to get them free phones and would give all the older kids them so they could communicate and such. life was horrible there, no doubt, but they learned to live through it. i'm not sure if i'll do a storyline with alex having already escaped or not, because he does end up escaping, but i might just use him still in the home. many times he'll trail off in conversations or randomly start bringing up or talking about the foster home. they all refer to the woman as either ms. helen or mother. though she hates it, a lot of the littles call her mom or mommy and many of the older kids call her mother, which she's not as upset about. that being said, alex and everyone else there holds a lot of trauma from it and he's pretty messed up now. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀♥
