wow, I haven't been here in a WHILE. long time no see! okay, here we go! just a disclaimer: my digital art is VERY sloppy at times, I'm still figuring that out. it's just so much more noticeable in digital than in traditional so please forgive me 1. so the lines are sloppy, the lighting is all wrong but ahhh I still love her!!! look at her!!! she's so cute!!! 2-3. this is a work-in-progress - as some of you may know I'm obsessed with historical fashion. at some point in june I got the idea to make these cards but I got stuck halfway through the jack of hearts. this is what I have so far, plus two closeups. lmk in the comments which one you like best! 4. at some point during a family trip this summer I decided I absolutely had to learn how to use water colors. and then a couple of weeks later a bird crash landed on our porch (can't say where I live but it's right in the middle of a MAJOR migration route so this happens all the time). we named him Thomas Aquinas because we always name the crashed birds after philosophers. anyway, he healed and flew off but I painted him first. also, let's just appreciate the awesome latin name. 5. austen-esque gal in watercolor and pen. I kinda love her. 6. a tree, heavily influenced by the art of the inimitable carson ellis (look her up look her up she's so talented aahhhh) 7. My amazing dearest best friend and I recently realized we've known each other a full DECADE, so I made a card commemorating all the obsessions we've had or things we've created over the years, some of which include harry potter, various boardgames, the thirty page conspiracy theory story we put together and the entire fictional country we invented (currently at civil war because the president sued the vice president). love ya buddy! (yes that is a hideous scratch cat there) 8. flowers! they're just cute, tbh I don't think there's anything else to say about them hope you enjoyed this:) cheers! Abby
