✧ art dump!!

[ press space ] hey all! :D i'm back with the art dump that i promised on my updates project!! i improved significantly over summer break and drew a lot during the last two weeks or so of it (most of this is from that period of time lol) so i thought that i'd share my drawings from then! they're all in order of when i drew them ^-^ my art style also changed a bit since my last project, so people who saw that project might notice something different in the way i drew this one :D i did 1 or 2 drawings before these ones during summer break but i'm trying to highlight my new art style for this project so i decided to leave them out this time since they were in my old style :') but i do have another project planned that will feature one of those few drawings that aren't shown here so stay tuned for that hehe >:3 there's not much to this project other than just press space and enjoy the artwork, but i also wrote summaries for each drawing below if you're interested :> enjoy! ✧ 1. this is the first drawing that i did with my new art style! her theme is basically a pink and black sort of pastel goth-type thing..? i'm not entirely sure tbh :p i'm super proud of the hair and her expression because i think i really nailed that aspect of the drawing but the legs are a tiny bit longer than how i'd hoped for them to turn out ^^" ✧ 2. idk if you can tell or not but basically the idea for this one was that her crush or lover or whatever gave her a flower and she's just like super flustered and surprised :') i think her outfit could have been done better, though i'm proud of the layers on her skirt and the wings turned out better than i expected :D ✧ 3. nya fanart!! i'm so proud of her outfit because it is so complicated and took forever to draw, but I'm glad it came out ok! as for the rest of the drawing though, i don't think i did her justice at all because her head shape and expression are just.. not that good and this is probably the one i like the least ;0; which is very unfitting seeing as how she's one of the best characters in here lol ✧ 4. this is tiger eye, one of my foxglove characters! the drawing was originally going to be my sona yun but it ended up looking less like a cat and more like a fox so i turned it into tiger eye lol :') i think this one is pretty good, it's not amazing but it's definitely not bad! ✧ 5. this is another random girl that i drew, i had a more defined theme for this one unlike the first 2 :D if you couldn't tell, it's dragons! i gave her a dragon tail, fangs and a dragon hood to hopefully make the theme more obvious since it's quite hard for me to portray a theme in a drawing without colour ^^" nonetheless, this is my favourite one!! i liked it so much that i even developed her character a bit more than the other ones, her name is kaida and she can shapeshift into a dragon :]] her expression and pose were based off of the "scare" halloween emote from acnh haha ✧ 6. the idea for this one was some sort of cat-astronaut-robot-thingy? tbh i had no idea what i was doing for this one ;v; it's not amazing since the drawing doesn't have much detail and i'm usually more proud of the more detailed ones like 5, but the pose is pretty good and there's nothing really bad about it? not my best work but it's still good! ✧ 7. self-portrait time!! i'm pretty proud of this one, i think the hair came out really nicely! :D however, i'm not exactly sure what the pose is doing..? the original idea was that she was taking off a shoe or something but i quickly realised that i could not draw that so ig she's stretching now :p nonetheless, i think this one's nice, the expression and hair are definitely my favourite parts ^-^ i do have glasses irl, but i can't draw glasses so i just opted to leave them out this time lol ✧ 8. this is the last one i did before school started! i mentioned in 4's summary that it was originally going to be yun, so i decided to actually draw yun, for real this time! :D this is her feral form as, if you haven't noticed, i'm slowly growing out of drawing anthros but i can still draw them (i'm slightly curious as to what one might look in my new style?) so lmk if you'd be interested in seeing that! ^-^ my favourite parts about this drawing would have to be the expression, tail and shading, it's not much but i just like the way it looks for some reason :p that's all for now! i'm so sorry if the summaries ended up being too long again, i have a problem that i ramble way too much about my characters :sob: nonetheless, i hope you enjoyed this project! please stay hydrated and have a great day!! <3 noo cat hair all over my keyboard ;;
